Don't really know if any of you are interested in this but I think she looks AMAZING! www.people.com/people/article/0,,20479345,00.html Unfortunately NO mention of Days of our Lives, only the Biggest Loser. I saw someone else mentioned in a thread that they only refer to her as the host of Biggest Loser instead of ever mentioning Dool. |

Good for her, but disappointed there's no Days mention. She doesn't tweet about Days much either, or maybe that's just my imagination. Seems like most of her tweets are about BL and dieting. Boring!

I'm not surprised or disappointed by no mention of Days in this article since it was clearly intended as an article on Biggest Losers as an inspiration for better fitness and health.
What I've noticed about Alison's tweet patterns is that it revolves around her latest focus. Right now, Sami's storyline is basically stalled whereas Alison has a new book about fitness to promote so that is going to be more of her focus for a while.
ETA: I forgot to say that yes, she looks great.

I agree with you all, but you think there would at least be something like, the Biggest loser host and star of days of our lives, or at least something to that effect.
I have to agree with the tweeting thing too. She does seem to tweet about what her immediate focus is.

Ali has always been uber positive (annoyingly so at times) about Days and whatever her current storyline happens to be and though she is still polly positive when she does talk about it; it's not with the same gusto. I get the strong impression that she has been displeased with the direction for Sami over the past couple of years... and I can't help thinking that is why she still has not signed a new contract yet (only extending the previous one). I can't blame her, I downright hate the direction Days has taken with Sami the past few years and I haven't spent more than half my life portraying the character.

She looks great, but I do wish she would mention Days...it was Days that helped her get to TBL...and Days needs her help. I don't tweet, but maybe somone out there can tell her to mention Days as often as she can so we never have to stop watching!

I agree with the sentiment ADT and I'm definitely not one to defend actors, including Ali. However, I can see how she would be inclined to think that she sufficiently promotes Days through her tweets already. The reality is that more people watching BL than Days, therefore she has reason to consider that she has at least as many twitter followers that are interested in hearing about BL as Days. From her perspective, it would make sense to be equally inclined to meet the expectations of both sets of fans and is probably already trying to promote Days as often as she feels appropriate. The reason I say "as often as appropriate" is because if she were promoting Days as often as Days fans would like to see, the BL fans would likely feel neglected. It must be a difficult fine line to walk. Not too much sympathy for her though because it was her choice to work both jobs and to have a Twitter account at all, so the pressure of balancing between those expectations just goes with the territory. All jobs have static.

I really can't rag on Ali for what she does/doesn't tweet,just because she does have alot going on.She tweets about Biggest Loser,Days,her kids,her books,etc.Once in a while her husband will even make an "appearance"in her tweets,lol.Unfortunately she can't please everyone all the time,so I'm just glad she's trying to appease her fans in both daytime and primetime.

I saw a very similar photo of Sara Rue, on people.com, in a bikini and talking about her weight loss too. It must be a story they both are in. And, I agree, both photos looked really airbrushed. I don't trust ANY photo I see of a celebrity (good or bad). It's too easy to alter pics to make them look however the digital artist wants them to look.

I have been trying ot figure out who sara Rue is. She looks so familiar and her name sounds familiar but I cannot place her. Help! It is driving me nuts! lol
