You guys could always support my favorite show....all soaps need our help...especially one on a network that just cancelled all their soaps. And it is not boring at all...
Oh and Kirsten Storms is coming back...she's a Days alum....come on over and support her, she is very good in her role.
How's that for a plug? ;D

DVRs don't count ratings. You have to be a Neilson family (which we were, last year).

I read that the recording or playback were counted toward ratings. I'm not a Nielsen family either. I wish my Comcast on demand viewing counted.

If you watch your DVR within three days of the original airing and DON'T fast forward commercials it counts.
Also counts when you watch on the network's website.
I used to let Days play on the nbc website (on mute) to help their ratings, even when I wasn't interested, until I hit my final straw with MarDar's writing. Now I am letting it play again, in support of the regime changes and because I love Molly and I want to enjoy her while I can.
As far as GH...I watch it on Abc.com. I HIGHLY recommend the show.

I have a hard time picking up new shows. I hate feeling lost. I need to watch from the beginning. Days is different because I have been watching since I was a kid.

Gary Tomlin needs a strong A storyline like he had in 2009 with the baby-switch storyline. That was Days last hit storyline in terms of ratings. Right now all that is going in they are setting up a Rafe/Sami/E.J. triangle, Daniel/Jennifer/Nicole, Will and Sonny, and Gaby and Nick. If Days wants to get re-newed in April they are going to have to do better than this.

Sometimes I barely have time to watch Days let alone another soap...especially during football season... I should change my name to footballgirl. LOL

Gary Tomlin needs a strong A storyline like he had in 2009 with the baby-switch storyline. That was Days last hit storyline in terms of ratings. Right now all that is going in they are setting up a Rafe/Sami/E.J. triangle, Daniel/Jennifer/Nicole, Will and Sonny, and Gaby and Nick. If Days wants to get re-newed in April they are going to have to do better than this. I agree - I think what Tomlin did before with dividing the canvas in half - Dimera and Kiriakis worked really well for the show. They had the Baby story on the Dimera side and the Titan/Fuels Project stuff on the Kiriakis side. All the other smaller stories filtered into the two. The show has no budget and limited cast, so it used what they had really well. |

I wish we could get Jeff Branson on Days. He is such a strong actor. Y&R lent out Eileen Davidson...why can't we have Jeff? Maybe as a Philip recast....  |

I would love him on Days, but not as a Philip Re-cast. Maybe he can be Alexander Kiriakis Justin and Adrienne's oldest boy. |

Can Alexander be ruthless and run Titan? That would work for me. The show needs a Philip type - if not Philip himself.
