The character of Dario is one of the biggest mistakes they have made in awhile...too bad they don't have the guts to fix it.....

Chloe with a baby was laughable in the first place...and the whole story was about Philip becoming a dad, not Chloe becoming a mom. So I am not surprised in the least he is taking Parker.
And it has been foreshadowed over and over in the past few months that Chloe is unstable, that Chloe wrecks lives, that Chloe is bad news for Philip. Philip himself has "warned" Chloe about not letting their crazy lives interfere with their child. So I can totally see him deciding to put Parker first (as Melanie told him to) and leave crazy Chloe, feuding Victor and Brady, and his murdering mother behind.
No not a bang...but it makes sense, which has been the one constant of Philip's story for the past two years. It all made sense and was true to character.

How the heck is Chloe any crazier than anyone else in Salem...?? And they all get to be mothers or at least they get to give advice about who can be a mother.......I don't get it.....

Chloe/Nadia is used for her beauty. She had the shortest soap pregnancy known to man for a reason. TPTB didn't want her in a maternity suit for too long. She is the show's hot girl/sexpot/bombshell...whatever you want to call her. And I can definitely see them not wanting to shackle her with a child. The baby storyline was written very much about Philip and Melanie and less about Chloe. I am sure you all have heard the complaints last year. Chloe was used as the vessel to give Philip a child because they didn't want Melanie to have one and Stephanie was too related to everyone on canvas. Chloe was a perfect choice. Chloe has been established as unstable before she even got pregnant...started it with the hysterical pregnancy...then onto almost killing Carly. I am not saying she is any worse than the rest, but it is a part of her character now. I actually think losing Parker right now could do wonders for her character. If they choose to write it. |
