Lisa Rinna, who returned to NBC's "Days of Our Lives" on March 8, is ready to say goodbye to her role as Billie Reed on the soap to focus on her many projects -- including a new talk show. “She's leaving so she can do all of the 500 other things she loves to do. [She's working on] her Belle Gray line for QVC, she’s writing another diet and fitness book, plus she’s developing a vitamin supplement line and lingerie line,” a friend of the actress told me. “She’s also in talks to do a panel-type talk show.” Lisa played Billie Reed for more than 150 episodes on "Days," last appearing in 2005 before her return this year. “At the moment, she’s with her kids and husband, Harry Hamlin, at their island in Canada,” confirms a pal. “Harry is also very busy, with his recurring role on 'Shameless' this season, where he will be naked all the way through. She's "leaving" because she's SO busy at Days???  Um, ok. More like she slipped out the back door unnoticed. Too bad they couldn't use Billie better, but better gone than useless. |

Is she taking a trip up the Horton Staircase?
Is she going to have any interaction with her mother & brother before she leaves. I mean, Kate did go on and on about how good it was to have all her kids (minus 1) back in Salem with her. Now that Austin is gone & Billie's leaving, that only leaves Lucas (because we know that TPTB have forgotten Phillip's ties to Kate)......until he decides to head back to Hong Kong.

I forgot she was even still on there!!!!! lol!!!! I don't think she had much of a storyline since she came back. Why did she come back again?  |

To cause a potential rift between Bo & Hope I'm sure. That was really the only storyline she had other than nosing through EJ's papers and fighting in the lobby of the spa with Daniel.

Billie can go to Switzerland and hang out with Austin and help with the baby. Give Austin someone to talk to. LOL. Because Carrie isn't the greatest communicator.

I used to love Bo and Billie...RKK - Bo...never liked Peter Reckell. But I am happy to see her go, she really wasn't helping things. Hopefully it will free up some cash so they can hire some women to date all these men on cast.

They can send her back to London. Once her ISA scenes were done, she just hung out with Austin.
They don't need to be paying her to be on once in awhile.

I'm glad Billie is leaving, LR just couldn't pull of playing LK daughter. They look like sisters not mother and daughter. Plus I'm not a Billie fan, but if Billie is going to be in Salem, it should be Julie Pinson. She was the better Billie and a way better actress. Philip, Rex, Cassie are in Chicago Austin is back in Switzerland Billie will probably go back to London. So that leaves Lucas has Kate's only kid in Salem. Of course I hear Gary Tomlin dosen't like Lucas and I've also heard he dosen't like BD for some reason. So it might not be long b efore GT ships Lucas back off to Hong Kong. I hope NOT. |

So it might not be long b efore GT ships Lucas back off to Hong Kong. I hope NOT. I personally find Lucas challenging with the current canvas of the show. I wasn't certain what they were going to do when he came back earlier this year. I thought his return made sense in light of Will coming out...but for anything else I can't see much. Maybe if they let him go darker and team up with Brady at Titan...that could be something. But generally I can see why Tomlin might have issues with how to use his character best right now. Billie was pointless to me from the start. Without Chelsea or something brewing with Bo, she didn't have much reason to be in town. |
