Faye, I think I may have misjudged you this go round.....I've never been a fan of yours and was disappointed when you returned to Salem....and yes, you were grating on my nerves to no end since your arrival....but today, I must say, I was quite pleased with you.....I did not get to see all of your meeting with EJ, but what I did see, I was impressed with.....you handled him well, and he doesn't fool you one bit......you stood up to him and I like that.....you and Stephanie, imagine that, 2 Salemites I don't even like very much are the only people in town (well, except for Rafe) to stand up to EJ and not kiss his butt......after today Faye, I think I love you.....
Gosh, now I'll be humming that Partridge Family song all night.....

Ha, she may have went up against EJ, but I still don't really care for her.
Great, now I have that dang song in my head...

I wish I had gotten to see it. I read the dayscafe.com summary, but it just didn't do it justice. I have never been a fan of Faye at all. I cannot stand her, but I would have liked to have seen it!

Faye rocked in her scenes with EJ. Good for her!! And EJ was, well, EJ. He tried to be smooth and even intimidating without any success. Then he showed his true colors by leaving the house, muttering "stupid cow" in reference to Faye.
EJ is a stupid pig.

I thought the "miserable cow" comment was hilarious. I know my husband has muttered something like that a few times about my mother, and most times I can't say I blame him. I didn't feel like that had much to do with EJ, so much as it was just a comment from a son-in-law to his mother-in-law.
Plus, where was Fay when Nicole wasn't married to one of the richest families in town? Were they even talking? Seems suspicious to me.

It was almost the best of the day. I agree, she certainly isn't the same Faye she once was...where did she get those cajones from? Maybe they had some extras in the DiMera pantry. ;D

Regarding the "stupid cow" line, Fay had just finished telling EJ that she hears everything that goes on in that house. So as EJ walks out, he mutters this insult under his breath and oh how I wanted Fay to say "I heard that."

Even if I strongly disliked my Mother-in-law I don't think I would say stupid cow within ear shot of her. My mother would back hand me if she ever heard me talk that way about one of my elders!

Still would have been funny for her to have said.
And, true to form, we see Faye back in today's episode back to her fetal/rocking position, not being able to eat b/c of something someone else has done.
I don't know, she's just too shaky for me. Even at the door, she's too shaky.

I agree Trey. She was so pathetic begging the nursemaid to see her daughters. Did someone take away her cell phone privileges?

I agree with what you guys are saying about her being so shaky with the nurse. The shakiness plays in really well with Faye and Rafe 2s scenes tomorrow! I was blown away by both of them!

I try to avoid spoilers, so the whole confrontation with Fay and FakeRafe was a huge shock to me! Great Friday ending!
That said, those scenes of Fay running out of the living room, huddled like a wide receiver guarding the ball while GRUNTING LIKE AN ANIMAL, were the funniest thing on Days since Chloe fell in that elevator. I keep rewinding them!

I thought it was VERY well done. Poor Fay. I even was a little scared for her. It was hilarious, though, to see Rafe2 haul her up those stairs. Clearly it was awkward, but she was fighting him pretty good. The fall was not so well done, and if that was a stuntwoman they need to get their money back from her. Since she didn't hit her head when she fell, how did the puddle of syrup appear under her head for Monday's show?
