I saw this tweet from Casey (Chad): Lol im over it RT @katemansi: I'm sad to say but "chabby" is over because of irreconcilable differences... It was a good run @scusecaseyd" I wonder if its a joke b/n them or if Chad is the gay one? Hmmmm. Kate Mansi just tweeted: Haha we were just teasing chabby is goin strong...it's a marathon not a sprint Ha ha! You beat me to it. I was just about to post the same tweet.

I don't share Chandler's optimism that any storyline of the Tomlin/Higley regime will be "done very well". However, my opinion that Tomlin is destined to make a disaster of everything he touches, has actually caused me to warm up to this idea after further consideration. Given the fact that no storyline for Will (or any other character) was going to be a good one, Will being gay may actually be the best available option. At least it sounds like if it happens it will be with the new character and not Chad. That's good because I'm sure Chad would have been the dominate focus in that storyline and Will would have been shortchanged ... and forever used as a prop to the Dimera storylines. If he stays in a relationship with Gabi, the focus will be on Will "supporting" Safe and he will forever be in the background of the Hernandi. This coming out story might actually give Will the one and only chance he could have right now to be free of the collective Dimera/Hernandez trainwreck. With any luck, this "Ryan" character will turn out to be a Kiriakis rather than a Carver. If so, then Will and his new love interest will be tied to the very best feature on Days right now, Victor & Maggie. IMO, that's about as good as any character, could possibly hope for on Tomlin's Days of Our Lives.
If Will is in a relationship with Victor's great nephew, I suspect Victor will be conflicted and Maggie will be the voice of reason and advocating support for the relationship. Maybe someone on staff will bother to remember that Will spent much of his young life in Victor's home. Not only is he Maggie's great nephew, he is Kate's grandson, Philip's nephew and once upon a time Victor was fairly fond of Lucas and should for many reasons, including the fact that Will was a sweetheart of a child when he lived at the K-mansion, be important to Victor, not just some stranger or that “son of Sami’s” dragging down his family. Victor would be better written as having some sense of fondness for Will even if he has concerns about the relationship.

Well, let's hope someone over "there " is reading what you just wrote here and listens. I agree that it would add dimension to the storyline with Victor involved with Maggies as a "couple" handling this together. I too think it's better if the love interest is a new character, not at all interested in Hearing Steafno rant about a gay Chad not being able to produce heirs...lol! Plus he is more masculine in his movement than EJ. weird. I think Ali will be a big help to Chandler because this is going to be quite a challenge. I'm at least thankful that the focus in that family isn't only on Dambo.
