Keiko Elizabeth Suda will make her first television appearance on DAYS OF OUR LIVES on August 15.
She's excited about her first television appearance–which she isn't allowed to talk much about–but said her late entry into acting means her entire life doesn't hinge on it.

"When you do something since you were young, a lot of your ego gets attached to what people think of your work," she said. "[When you] do something for a long period of time you lose your curiosity about it. [I've been] engaging in the process of getting better because my ego wasn't so wrapped up in it."

From something on her website about the role, I think this is a very short-term role. I don't think she will be Autumn.

Something doesn't seem right with that info on her page. A mother reunited with her young daughter? Who? Also it says it's airing the end of May. Unless they are taping waaaaaaaaaaay in advance, I'd say that info is misleading (at best).

I think she is going to be a glorified extra. She filmed in May and appears in August, which is consistent with the post-disaster period. I figure there will be a minor story within the disaster arc of a woman at the Pub or hospital looking for her missing daughter and they will be reunited. Maybe one of the major characters will save the girl.

Something like that would help to give the impression that the explosion affected people in Salem other than the main cast.

ETA: They are taping way in advance. The recent scripts leaked have airdates for mid-November, so that is three months. That would be consistent with Keiko filming at the end of May for episodes that air in August after the Olympics hiatus.

That makes sense. They seem to include in the comings/goings anyone who will appear even for a day or two.

I was referring to the part that said "AIRDATE: End of May." It didn't say "Tape date."

That must be an error. They aren't filming almost a year ahead.

I know. I figured that was a typo and it was supposed to be air date. The We Love Soaps thing says her airdate is Aug. 15 and since this is her first TV appearance, it must be the same role.

the only daughter that could be reunited with her mother would be Gabi. While they look like they might could possibly be family, I can't see her as Rafe's mother.

There is nothing in the description that means the "daughter" has to be a cast member. Probably, Keiko will play some random Salem resident who runs around and asks, "Has anyone seen my daughter?" After the explosion, there are going to be extras who have been injured or are affected by the explosion, and some probably include families that were separated. Then the little girl will show up and mom and daughter will be reunited. I don't think this is anything more than a minor role.
