Wondering why Rafe2 needs to sleep on the couch. That apartment is almost as big as the Horton house. Instead of the couch, why doesn't Rafe2 share a room with Dario? Or Johnny? Or sleep in Allie's room? Or with Will?
I was glad that Sami stuck by her guns and told Rafe2 exactly how she feels, and how she doesn't feel. As an aside, I never thought Sami was very pretty, but she is looking gorgeous lately.

The couch thing is a ploy to make Sami feel bad for him.... as for Ali Sweeney, I have always thought she was very pretty.

I guess given what she told him about how she worries about how he is with the kids he wouldn't feel right sleeping in with Will and Allie and Johnny probably have toddler beds, so he wouldn't fit in there. No clue why he wouldn't bunk up with Dario. That thought never crossed my mind, but he may avoid that so Dario doesn't figure out he really isn't Rafe.

It's like a little kid trying to get attention - no point in crying or pitching a fit if you're off in another room. Picking the living room means he gets to make his displeasure "obvious" to Sami and probably Will, Dario, etc. too so he can whine to them about how "unsupportive" Sami is to him after "all he has done for her."

He has become a bit of a whiner, hasn't he?

I thought his scenes today were hilarious! Galen had me laughing out loud at how well Rafe2 was pushing Sami's buttons. Beyond that fact that it's all wrong on so many levels, it was just so darn funny today. I enjoyed it.

^^ I hadn't thought of it that way, DD, but you're right. You could see the smoke coming out of Sami's ears when Rafe told Johnny he has to talk Mommy off the ledge because she's off her crazy meds. Whoa!

addicted...I was saying if I were Rafe2, I wouldn't bunk in with the brother either....!!!! ;D Today's scenes were funny due to the way Galen is playing Rafe2...he's a pretty smart actor seems to me....let's say EJ said this to Johnny...OH MY GOSH, do you know how many of us would be up in arms... ? We would be gathering pitchforks and torches to head up the hill to DiMansion......or if Daniel said it to someone about Chloe... The trash talk would fill pages....!!! But Galen Gering has won our hearts over it seems....and he just plain knows what he is doing.....

The couch is a natural place for Rafe to go for attention. He's in everyone's way, and most importantly he's in Sami's way (she's sort of bottled up in her room and can't avoid him). Plus he gets a "get out of jail" card since he's the victim on the couch.
Personally, if my guy pulled that crap on me, he'd be out in a motel room. No means No.

That's what I thought about the Brady/Vivian sarcophagus storyline, it would have been horrid and disgusting if played out in a more serious manner or if different characters had been involved. Eric's portrayal had a lot to do with making it work IMO. In this storyline, for me, it's just that Rafe 2 is temporary so it doesn't irritate me as much as it would if I saw the show trying to building the psycho into a legitimate love interest or "super Doc". In a sense I do agree though that Galen's acting is a lot of the reason that I've never had any strong reaction (neither positive or negative) to either Rafe.

You are absolutely right Pallison, Galen has charmed us in a way with his portrayal of Rafe 2. I also find him easier to take when he's being inappropriate with Sami in a joking way than with Allie in a scary way; it was a very good idea to remove her from the picture so we can enjoy Galen's incredible acting.
ANd as much as I agree with Sami, I still imagined that many of us, myself included, would have jumpred at the opportunity to whip them covers right off of Rafe on that couch!
