I don't know anyone that's ever gone to boarding school. military school yes, boarding school no. It's such an odd concept to me.

I can see one for a troubled youth, but I don't remember Jack Jr being troubled...

I had two friends from good/caring families who have gone to boarding schools. It's just a different environment. Not necessarily a throw away school for kids who's parents don't care or for troubled kids. It's not something I would choose for my kids, but c'est la vie. It is a convenience for writers when they need to dispose of a kid or bring one back.

Where would you rather go? Boarding school or upstairs? At least people can return from boarding school.  That is just the funniest thing I have heard all day. I have to thank you, DD. I really needed that. |
