TNT usually splits their seasons into 2 parts for every show. All of their shows either have a summer and winter season or a spring and fall season and most of these parts usually have between 10 - 12 episodes before it goes off the air for a few months and then comes back with another 10 - 12 episodes to complete the season. I remember when I first started watching Leverage on TNT and being disappointed that only 10 episodes aired and then I found out 3 months later that it was coming back on the air with another 10 episodes. Dallas since it looks like it is going to fall into having a summer and winter season will probably only have 10 episodes for the summer and then it will be brought back sometime in December for another 10 episodes. I'm sure the show has already probably been renewed since it is a real good show and the ratings were really good. TNT usually only cancels shows if the ratings are extremely bad. There hasn't been one show yet that I like watching on TNT that has been canceled. That is why when I watch primetime stuff I usually like to stick with that channel since I know if I get into a show that I am not going to have to worry too much about it going off the air after a few episodes or a season. I hate trying to watch stuff on some of the other channels because usually the shows I like only last a couple of episodes before they are canceled.
I am really looking forward to tonight's show.

The opening scene on last night's episode between JR and John Ross was the best part of the show - I don't remember JR being THAT menacing before - Larry Hagman is better than ever. I was also excited to see Cliff back and to learn that Pam "disappeared one day" rather dying like I had assumed - there's bound to be storyline around that at some point.
I hope ABC & NBC both take note of how well Dallas is doing in the ratings and with the targeted demographic - old school soaps still sell when done right - if they would get back to what made soaps a success to begin with and simply modernize wardrobe and technology for the characters the way that Dallas has done - daytime soaps would have new life again.

I thoroughly enjoyed Dallas last night!!! It just keeps getting better and better and my brother got a tweet last night from Patrick Duffy saying "the best is yet to come" so I'm excited and can't wait til next week!!! I wish that Victoria Principal would reprise her role as Pam, but I know that won't happened. She wanted to leave the show bc she suffered really bad from arthritis. She was one of my favorite characters.

I missed that article!!! It seems like Dallas is gonna be one of those shows that gets better and better every week!!! I too think that NBC and ABC should take notes on how to produce a good soap that the viewers want to watch and will tune in to watch

I finally started watching tonight. I'm watching the episodes on-demand. I'm on the fourth episode. I'm really enjoying it a lot. The pace is quick. I really like JR.

I really like it to, but I think it would have been better with Jay playing the role of John Ross. I always wanted Days to do a storyline with Philip and Victor like Dallas is doing with John Ross and J.R.

He may not have wanted to audition for the role.
