I forgot too. I'm guessing they'll rerun it since it's a cable channel. I wonder if it'll be available on-demand.

Reviewers rarely like anything like that. They usually like the shows that only appeal to a very small portion of viewers.

Yeah that is so true. It's like whatever a majority of the world likes, the reviewers hate and vice versa. It's def a night time soap and the love scenes were very different from daytime soaps. Guess that's why it's on at night!!! lol!!! There was still alot of lust, love, and alot of back stabbing and manipulation

I was pleased. I don't love the younger members of the cast but they may grow on me. I was thrilled that that Lucy and Ray attended Christopher's wedding and that Uncle Cliff got a mention. Overall, it was what I was hoping for. They did a good job of keeping the connection to the previous Dallas while still updating film style, dialogue, etc. to modern standards.
It's definitely a soap - I convinced my sister (who has never been a soap fan) to give it a try and she hated it. I laughed at her reasons because they were essentially the same list of things I liked best - she's upset because Bobby's "dying" and that the boys are fighting. I tried to explain that Bobby will be just fine and that the characters are suppose to have conflict with each other, but I should've known - we don't share any of the same tastes when it comes to movies/TV. She doesn't like True Blood, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc. either so I take it as a positive sign that she added Dallas to that list.

I agree I really liked the first two episodes, but I definitely think they could have done a better job at casting the younger set. I still think Jay would have been a perfect candidate for John Ross Ewing. I really loved the twist with John Ross trying to underhand J.R,, I always wanted Days to something similar with Philip and Victor.

I'm sure that Jay knew about the part, but maybe he wasn't interested in it. I dont think it was meant to be for Jay to be on Dallas. I love the show and I can't wait to watch it next week!!! I wish the season was going to be longer then 10 episodes

I just checked and Dallas is available on the on-demand for Comcast. There are also episodes from the original series on the on-demand.

I just watched the pilot and I really like this show a lot. I love the way that the show uses the veteran and younger characters together. I also love that the older characters are still be written pretty much the way that they were when the original aired.
Days needs to take a page out of Dallas's book about how to incorporate both veteran and younger characters together into a storyline.
I really like the John Ross character a whole lot.

It was very delightfully soap-y! Plot twists and turns and just when you think you've figured out a character, bam!, a whole new scenario arises. So much fun and so nostalgic at the same time. Yeah, the casting of the younger set was iffy, and I had a hard time at the beginning trying to keep people straight, but it got easier to remember who was who by the second episode.

I really loved it and thought they did an amazing job!!! Last Wednesday, 7 million people tuned in to watch and most of those viewers were 18-49 demographic, so I'm excited!!! This was the highest rated premiere for a new show, so I am very happy and I hope that more episodes get ordered for the first season. I will be sad if the first season ends with just 10 episodes.
