Is anyone on here going to watch "Dallas" when it premieres on TNT in June??!! I am so excited and can't wait!! I grew up watching Dallas every Friday night with my parents!! I think it's gonna be a hit and I'm glad that some of the originals are going to be on there

At my grandma's house we weren't allowed to talk when Dallas was on. Only in the commercials. I plan to check out the new version.

I'm very excited about the new Dallas! I used to watch it with my grandmother also. It was her favorite show. She never called it Dallas; she always referred to it as J.R. - she would tell me J.R. comes on tonight, get your bath early so you can watch with me.

There was a song that the local radio station played during that time and I don't know if it was just something that the DJs made up or if it was released in other areas of the country but there was a song about who shot JR. I don't remember it very well but it was different voices all predicting a different character and the part I remember best was one about it being John Ross, the lyrics were something about him crawling up and pulling the trigger.

I am very excited about it too!! I think it's gonna be good. I was always excited on Fridays bc Dallas would come on and I would watch it with my parents!!

Are there two episodes tonight or are they just playing the premiere twice? Cable channels seem to do that a lot.

Jay should have been cast as John Ross Ewing III. I would much rather see Jay on Dallas then Josh Henderson. I don't even know if Jay auditioned for the role or if it was even something he would be interested in doing. I really enjoyed it last night and I think it's gonna be a hit!! |
