Molly probably just wants to be free to pursue other work. She's not in a big storyline either that could entice her to stay.
I don't mind short term returns. Especially if they make sense for a storyline.

I could see Molly wanting to leave. She hasn't had a good storyline since Jay left. I know pilot season is over with, but maybe she could do guest appearences and maybe movies if that is what she wants to do.

They all leave thinking they'll become a big movie star. Happens for very few. Others return to soaps or find success in primetime.

Yeah. It's hard right now to find something good in prime time because the networks won't give the shows a chance. I think it's dumb to only give shows a week or so and if they don't have good ratings, then it's canceled. Shows need more then a week to see if it will last.

Yeah I know what you meant, but I was saying that it's gonna be hard for any actor or actress to make it in prime time when the networks won't give new shows or existing shows a fighting chance.

I agree that it's hard to get a lasting primetime show. I think it's better to join an existing show than pin your hopes on a new one.

Maybe Gabi does in fact release Nick or help him escape & he comes back, goes psychotic over Melanie & kills Carrie instead my mistaking her for Melanie??

As for Molly, I read that she has actually had to turn down roles because of Days... I wish her luck!

I was just checking out twitter and it looks like Blake is filming now.
I personally wouldn't mind him sticking around. He's more interesting than most of the younger crowd on now.

We'll see. There are lots of changes going on and no doubt will be continuing for several months to come, even if the info about Blake being back for a storyline is true it doesn't mean it'll stay that way. I would like to have him back long term and Days could certainly use interesting legacy characters in that age group and Nick is a great choice.
