Kristen comes in fired up about Brady’s rearrest. EJ isn’t interested in the conversation. Kristen says it is harassment, poor Brady arrested with no evidence. EJ tells her that in fact there is an eye witness, the victim herself, Sarah Kiriakis. EJ tells Kristen that Sarah came forward and identified Brady, so despite Kristen’s car crushing efforts Brady will pay for his crime. Kristen is dubious that Sarah suddenly remembered after all this time. EJ thinks it is plausible for memories to come back after trauma. Kristen tells EJ he knows Sarah is lying through her ‘pearly white teeth’.


EJ wants to know what Kristen doesn’t believe that Sarah’s memories returned. Kristen says even Marlena couldn’t bring back Sarah’s memory of the accident. She thinks that Sarah’s sudden memory is a little convenient.


EJ tells her that Sarah was not raised by Stephano, she is a Horton, a stand up citizen. Kristen points out that Sarah lied twice about the paternity of her children. EJ tells her that she just doesn’t want Brady to pay for his crime because she still loves him, while Brady detests her and always will. Kristen says that Brady doesn’t detest her, they are getting closer lately, plus it would break Rachel’s heart if her dad went to prison, but EJ doesn’t care, as long as Brady hurts then it hurts Eric. It isn’t Brady’s fault that Nicole left him. No, says EJ, but it is his fault that Sarah is crippled, and he will make sure that Brady pays, and pays dearly. Kristen will see about that. She flounces out.


Later, Kristen tells Stephano’s portrait that while John was his sworn enemy, Brady is a good man. And the father of her child, and the father of his grandchild. She loves him with all her heart, and because Stephano loves her, she knows he would help her save him. But he’s not here, and EJ has Sarah’s statement and there is nothing she can do to get Brady out of this, without a miracle. On cue, Rolf comes through the ‘secret’ door.

Now what on earth brings back Rolf? Vaguely curious. But also, a bit apprehensive.

Now now horizon, is it not obvious he is the miracle Kristen asked her dead dad for? What would get Xander to drop the vendetta against Brady? Obviously a miracle cure for Sarah!
