They’re excited about the first day of filming. But Abe has some bad news. It’s clear their two leading ladies don’t get along. Hattie gave Abe an ultimatum. Either Bonnie goes, or she does, and he believes she’s serious. Abe thinks they have no choice. They have to lose one or the other.
Abe says Hattie holds all the cards as Charlemagne is the star of the show. Kate questions whether that’s true or if Charlemagne is just Abe’s favorite character. Abe says the research shows that fans love Charlemagne, so it makes more sense to fire Bonnie.
Kate plays devil’s advocate. If they give in to Hattie’s ultimatum, they are setting a dangerous precedent. How long before she starts demanding creative control? They need to stop this before it gets out of control.

While I hate the stupidity of this, I am glad Kate makes more sense
She didn’t particularly agree with either hire but went along with it cuz abe pushed hard
Maybe she should make a few calls
Get rid of both if they can’t agree to get along and hire new people and leave the rest of this soap off screen and it be referred to as their job that we never see them do
