EJ finds it odd that no one is home at the mansion. He finds a bloody poker on the floor while pouring himself a drink.
Mark comes around the corner after Steve leaves the jail. He confronts Clyde, who is glad Mark is using the fake credentials he got him. Mark says they need more time. Clyde says that if Fake Abigail doesn't marry Chad ASAP, she and Mark will never see their mother alive again.

So, Mark's parents didn't die in a car accident.
As a lawyer, EJ should know better than to pick up possible evidence with his bare hands.

EJ at least spotted the poker. Roman walked past it twice yesterday
This makes what we thought was a flub on July 4th by Aaron possibly not, as he said his mom was waiting for him. This was before all this nonsense started, so maybe Goldman grabbed Mom two months ago. Although I'm certain Mark said he was raising his younger siblings.

Well now we know the truth behind this sort of shabby fake Abigail tale. Not a bad idea per say but the story in itself is a touch lame.

If Clyde is in Super Max prison, how did Dr. Mark get to him? Is he now a doctor working at the prison?
