Connie says she's going to kill Gabi and Melinda and incinerate the mansion. Melinda tries to reason with her but Connie isn't having it, insisting the Dimera Mansion, or what's left of it, will be Melinda and Gabi's tomb.
Melinda reminds her she’s kept her alive all this time and pleads for Connie to do the right thing. Connie, however, says that neither of them will be able to speak again and that the world will owe her thanks.
Connie leaves to get supplies. Melinda wakes Gabi and explains they’re being held hostage by Connie, who’s been keeping her captive with a cardboard cutout of Li. Gabi is shocked. She went to prison because of Connie! Why did Connie keep them alive after confessing to them? Melinda says Connie is planning on killing them later.
Gabi tells Melinda the room is soundproof, as she learned the hard way. However, the Dimeras frequently come down here for wine and champagne, so they'll be found. Melinda is annoyed. There's no time to wait for someone to get thirsty. Gabi says Melinda wanted her to give her hope. Melinda snaps, "Not false hope!" Gabi says they can't turn on each other now.
Gabi notices her phone on the floor. EJ calls just then.
Gabi sees the phone went to voicemail. If EJ left a message, he will come looking. She starts rambling about her relationships. Melinda snaps at her to stop talking and find a way to get to the phone. Gabi moves her chair closer, but Connie returns with a bag and puts Gabi back where she was before confiscating the phone.
Connie takes a bomb out of the bag. Melinda and Gabi try to convince her not to go through with this, but Connie gets mad that Melinda calls Li a cardboard cut out and says it's Melinda's fault he's dead. Melinda tries to tell Connie that she's the one who killed Li, but Connie says LA LA LA I'M NOT LISTENING. Gabi tries a different tact, saying that killing them won't fix Connie's broken heart. She knows she's hurt and angry and confused but this won't accomplish anything. Connie replies that she is hurt and angry, but not confused. She sets the bomb and leaves.

Melinda has been the MVP of this whole stupid storyline. I love her.
Gabi could have just tipped over in her chair and got to the phone in seconds.
Connie is a master bomb builder now? Please let this be over tomorrow

Hoping that Stefan will walk into the bomb scene and die rescuing the others.

I think Trask was pretty funny today the way she kept badgering Gabi. I was hoping the woman could fend for themselves. Two plus minutes on that bomb. Yikes. Hopefully it is easy to disconnect. Typically they take tedious time and often an expert has to stop it.
