After a replay of EJ denying he had sex with Gabi, Stefan doesn't believe him. EJ says he slept with Gabi once and Stefan made it clear he doesn’t want her back, so why does it matter now? Stefan says Gabi is still his wife.
EJ says cause Stefan never sleept with his brother’s wife and only cheated once, or so he claims. Stefan retorts that he could captivate a jury with EJ’s tales of depravity. EJ finally confesses that he and Gabi didn’t sleep together that morning. Stefan says so you're saying my wife lied?
EJ tells Stefan that he won’t stand idly by while Stefan tries to destroy his life, reminding Stefan that Stefan ruined his own marriage by sleeping with Ava. He goes.
Stefan complains about EJ's smugness, and Ava comments that at least Gabi didn’t sleep with EJ again. Stefan remains uncertain. Ava points out that expecting a straight answer from EJ is futile. Stefan speculates that Gabi and EJ must have slept together again, and says they could even the score.
Ava says she's offended by Stefan's suggestion they have a quickie to even the score with Gabi. Stefan says he didn't say quickie. Anyway, Gabi is to blame for Ava's problems so why don't they get revenge on Gabi by having fun at the mansion?
Ava asks why it matters if Gabi and EJ slept together again? They’d already done it once. Stefan says the first time, Gabi regretted it, but now she's enjoying it.
Ava, feeling disrespected, tells Stefan she’s leaving and doesn’t want to be involved in his childish attempts to get back at Gabi. Stefan apologizes, admitting that the thought of Gabi with EJ drives him mad. Ava responds that it’s his problem, not hers, and she refuses to be used. She's done with their friendship and with working for him. She'd rather sling hash for Roman 24/7. She storms off.

I'm happy that Ava turned Stefan down with no wiggle room. She redeemed herself a little after cavalierly walking out on her shift at the pub. Hopefully she can still work at the pub since Roman has been otherwise occupied and none the wiser.

Really enjoyed Ava today (for once). Everything she said to Stefan was correct, especially calling him and Gabi on their adolescent behaviour.

Stefan really has no purpose in any storyline. He's like a fly at a picnic. Everyone is trying to enjoy their day, but there's that annoying fly that won't go away.
His marriage to Gabi is over, and his revenge seeking is beyond comical. I'm glad Ava told him off.

Highlight of the day for me. What an insulting idea. Ava gave him what he deserved and I for one am glad she is going back to the "plain and unglamorous" pub to work for Roman.
At first I liked his charitable offer to bring back Ava in the fold and give her a proper paycheck. Ha. But as usual Stefan blew his chance with yet another greasy scheme. I was so worried Ava would give in. Whew. Ava did something right for a change.
Perhaps she is maturing. Ha. I wouldn't "buy" that stock just yet.
