Maggie comes in to see Sarah. Victoria remains asleep, of course. She wants to know about the session with Marlena. Sarah says even with hypnosis she could not see Brady’s face. She recounts the session to Maggie but says she could not remember the events of the accident. Maggie says Xander must be disappointed. She wonders where he is. Sarah says some sort of work emergency. Maggie looks dubious.
Maggie wants to know how Xander seemed after the session. Sarah says he was upset, and she went to the bathroom and he was gone, and Fiona drove her home. Maggie says that Fiona has been such a help. Sarah hopes Fiona can help Xander get past his anger at Brady, but does not think he will be at peace until Brady is punished for what he did to her and nobody can do anything to change his mind.
Sarah wants to check in with Xander. Maggie stops her. She has had enough worry tonight. She needs to focus on her recovery and on Victoria. Sarah hates that Xander is having such a hard time with this. Maggie does too, but Xander is a grown man; he is a husband and a father and has to learn to manage his emotions on his own. Sarah has enough to deal with. Sarah agrees that she is right. She is glad Xander made things up with his mum just in case they need Fiona to talk him off the ledge.
Maggie wants to go check on dinner. Sarah is going to go look in on Victoria. Maggie wants to know if she needs help, but Sarah is getting used to the stair lift. Maggie wants to know if Fiona is joining them for dinner. Sarah doesn’t, but maybe she should call her.
Xander and the bat arrive home. Sarah is still solo on the couch. He kisses her and asks what she is doing all alone. Sarah reports on Maggie checking on dinner and Victoria still narcoleptic. Why does Xander have a bat? Xander tells her he saw Brady. Sarah knows what that means. Did he hurt him? Xander says he came close, but his mum stopped him by telling him that she has been sleeping with Brady. Sarah has the same face we all make when we first learn this news.

I liked Sarah's blank expression when Xander told her about Brady and Fiona. If my spouse was carrying around a bat for anything other than playing baseball or softball, I would tell her "Adios have a nice life."
Sarah is too mature for Xander. I sniff trouble ahead.

I think Sarah just accepts him for who he is horizon They are the new Maggie and Victor. Maggie shrugged off Victor strangling Ben a few years back.

It doesn't have to be right, that's the point I guess. None of this is right. Victor actually had people murdered and Maggie loved him. That was not right either.
I find one has to leave real world morals behind with these people. 99% of the town are criminals.

For sure there are plenty of shady and or inept characters populating Salem but at the same time I have no investment in watching a facsimile of "Mob Wives" play out.
