Kristen tells Brady that EJ figured out that she took the car. EJ wants Kristen to admit that Brady confessed to her. She refused to admit that. Brady wants her to give EJ what he wants. Brady does not want both Rachel’s parents in jail. Kristen is sure neither of them are in danger. Brady is sure Sarah will remember under hypnosis that he was the driver. Kristen is rethinking her sole custody of Rachel. Rachel needs to know that her father will always be in her life.
Brady is writing his resignation letter when Xander appears. He has a bat. He intends for Brady to feel the same pain Sarah feels. Fiona arrives and stops Xander. He needs to stay out of jail for Victoria’s sake.

Fiona said she has something to confess. That was not noted but is important. I think she is going to admit to being with Brady that night and give him some sort of an alibi to stop Xander.
I think Xander was stalling. His heart was not in this once Brady was a willing victim.

I didn't like the show today and wasn't crazy about yesterday either, but this vengeance scene took the cake.
I have actually supported Xander, even when he went on the Susan kidnapping adventure because he was desperate. And even though it was stupid I at least could see why he wanted to impress Sarah.
But this bat thing is a return to the Xander I remember when he first entered the scene. And for the record I think it is silly Days conjured up a story telling us he is Victor's son. But on that I am wondering if Days has another twist in store and he actually is NOT Victor's son. Which would make a heck of a lot more sense to me.
Anyway, wielding a bat like some lunatic goon is not a good look. For crying out loud his child just celebrated her first birthday, and this is what he has decided to do.
Horrible stuff and it left a bad taste in my mouth. To me it is Xander just reverting back to his earlier ugly form.
I suspect Fiona will confess she and Brady know each other or something to that affect.

I think the same thing horizon, that she'll chicken out and confess to something else and maybe it will be that she and Brady had a fling.

I hated the clown thing way more horizon Not just the stupidity of it, but that Xander gaslighted Sarah and used Gwen to lie to her. It was almost unforgivable. This is in character. It's not nice, but he is reverting to the dangerous person that we keep being told he still is. Last year when Kate warned Rex to get away from Sarah cause Xander would hurt him, I just shrugged, Xander had been too good for too long for Rex to be at risk. The situation with Brady is different. Brady truly believes he crippled Sarah. Xander is convinced. Brady is getting off with no charges and wants to be punished. Xander feels helpless and needs to make him pay. It is a perfect storm. I do feel like he was stalling though, hitting the desk and the boxes, like he really doesn't have the stomach for it anymore. Brady just standing there hoping he would do it was probably a turn off too. And this is Xander at his most like Victor. Victor hunted down and killed the goons who shot Maggie. He put out a hit on his own brother for crippling her. He tried to kill Bo in an elevator shaft over Carly. If not Xander as Victor's son, who else fits the mould? And more importantly, what character exists who had a history on screen with Victor as long and complicated as Xander?

I don't expect Fiona to confess at all about being the driver.
Zander going through the "this is for..........and this is for......." and hitting the boxes and the desk just seemed dumb to me. If he had any intention at all of actually doing anything he would have said all of that while beating Brady to a pulp. It seemed more to me like a scare tactic and he wanted to see Brady beg and cower away from him.
I know Brady's not a favorite but for once, I'm glad to see someone owning up to what they think they did. We all know that he is innocent in this, but it is nice to see someone taking responsibility for what they believed their actions were.

I have to wonder if he would have confessed if he really did it I feel like he’s only showing so much remorse and so much emphasis is being put on how it’s so unlike Brady to just drive away because we know it was Fiona Like it’s being done for dramatic effect

This has been a good story for Brady.
I don't think this has been a good story for Xander. The focus is on Fiona. I hope when it's over, we will see Xander go through a range of emotion knowing Victor was his father but he never acknowledged him. If that doesn't happen, then this was just a plot point to bring his mother into the story.

If that doesn't happen, then this was just a plot point to bring his mother into the story. I hate that we barely touched on the trauma of Xander finding out about Victor. Ron rushed the reveal then hopped into this mess before he had any time to process it. Alex meanwhile got months of scenes whinging about it and it wasn't even true. From what the actress said we are getting some sort of history on Fiona with her escape from an alcoholic father in Scotland. I hope we also touch on her relationship with Victor and Titus
