Rafe Wakes Up / Wednesday (Read 130 times)

After a replay of Rafe opening his eyes, Paulina says she'll go get Kayla and tells him to stay awake.

Kayla removes the tube and tells Rafe his throat might be sore. He thanks her but asks what happened.

Later, Kayla says his heart and lungs look good but they should get an MRI to be sure. Jada comes running in and hugs Rafe.

Jada is alone with Rafe after Kayla goes. She says to Rafe she’s been here for so many hours waiting for this moment. She can’t believe this is happening.

Gabi comes running in.

Rafe says he still doesn’t know what happened to him.

Gabi says, you didn’t tell him? Jada says she was a little preoccupied. Gabi says he’s been out for two months. He was stabbed in the back in the cemetery. Don’t you remember? Rafe says he was on the phone with Paulina. There’s a flashback. He says, I felt… pain. Jada says she’s sure it was very painful. She asks if he remembers who stabbed him.

Meanwhile, Paulina asks Kayla how Rafe is and Kayla tells her he's doing well and Jada and Gabi are with him.

Rafe says he didn’t see the person. Gabi says they know who did it. It was Jada’s ex, and they fill him in that Bobby committed suicide. Rafe says, well, I guess that’s it then, huh? The end. Jada looks skeptical.

At the nurse's station, Paulina brings Kayla coffee from Sweet Bits. She asks if Rafe is the same man as before. Kayla says he doesn’t remember the stabbing, but otherwise, his memories are intact.

In the room, Rafe says, my girlfriend feeding me…  Jada says he’d better get used to it because she’s going to take care of him until he’s better. He asks who the new commissioner is. Jadatells him it's her but assuers him it's only til he gets back on his feet. Gabi adds she’s doing a great job. Rafe insists on knowing what’s been going on.  Jada tells him about the hit-and-run, and somehow it makes him remember Connie saying the open grave was the least of his concerns.

Well, I guess there's movement on the psycho Connie story.

I'm glad Rafe is awake.

I am glad Rafe is awake too, but is HE? Big clue was revealed. Anyone catch it?

Right before Connie stabbed Rafe, she let out a scream. And it clearly wasn't the kind of a scream a man would make.

I want poor Everett cleared of this. And the Li murder. Most of all I want Connie perma dead.

Gabi has a big mouth. Jada was right to ask Rafe what he remembers. She understand that there may be something she overlooked. She didn't want to assume, but Gabi is just a big mouth, blabbing everything. She needed to let Jada take the lead.

Rafe remembers Connie's voice. I'm guessing he will hear it again in person before long. Nurse Connie will show up to give him a shot.

I'm glad Rafe is awake. I hope this means that the Connie storyline will be wrapping up soon.

I thought Jada looked exceptionally pretty. I'm glad Bobby is out of the picture and not around to create an unneeded triangle.

I'm surprised he didn't shut his eyes and go right back into that coma the minute he heard Paulina shrieking and hollering.
