Chad says to Stephanie that he’s sorry for being late. He had to talk to the kids’ teachers. She tells him she already scattered the ashes and nobody came except Jada. She says it’s fitting for them to be the only two, as they knew him best, though Leo had mentioned Connie, but when Stephanie called, Connie claimed she has no idea who he was.

Chad says, so this woman says she didn’t know Everett? Stephanie says maybe Everett didn’t give his real name, or Leo didn’t have his facts straight. Chad says he’s sorry there wasn’t much of a turnout. She says, sure, it was for you too. Chad says it wasn’t the first time the kids had gone back to school, but he wishes Abby could have been there. Stephanie can’t imagine what it would mean to Charlotte and Thomas to have their mom back. Chad hopes they do.

Chad asks how Stephanie’s meeting with Abby went. She says Abby didn’t remember her, but she reminded her of their childhood exploits. Chad knows all about it because Abby told him when they first met, but not the details. Stephanie says, oh no, taking my secrets to the grave. She says one weird thing happened.  Abigail was talking on the phone and said she was talking to Kayla about a treatment plan. Chad says that makes sense. Stephanie says, yeah, but my mom had no idea what I was talking about.

Chad says this makes no sense. Why would Abigail say she was talking to your mom when she wasn’t? Maybe it was a different Dr. Johnson? Stephanie says, when I said Kayla, she didn’t correct me. Chad says she was probably confused. Stephanie says she seemed sure. I hate to even think this, but… Chad says, what? Stephanie says Abigail is lying.

Chad says, why would Abby lie about talking to your mom? Stephanie says she doesn’t know. Chad says she was talking to another doctor and got confused. Stephanie says that has to be it. Who else would she be making a plan with?

Stephanie says she should get back to work. Thanks for coming. Chad says he’s sorry for being late. Stephanie says she knows he has a lot going on. Stephanie says they should do dinner with Abby. Chad says, let’s do that. The sooner she gets comfortable, the sooner she’ll want to see the kids.

It makes sense Chad showed up since he closely worked with Everett.

Leo did too. Not that I mind Leo taking a week off, but he should have been there. Xander I'll give a pass as it is Victoria's birthday and he is dealing with Sarah's paralysis and hopefully running Titan
