Melinda works at getting out of her restraints with no success while Cardboard Li stands guard. Connie enters with a tray of food and makes Melinda promise not to scream if she takes off Melinda’s gag. She begins to cut Melinda’s food. She has a big day ahead because she suggested to Gabi to cheat on Stefan. Melinda asks if she thinks Gabi already found a man? Connie replies there are eligible men living in that house which makes things all the messier.
Connie gets a call from Stephanie inviting her to Everett’s memorial. She claims not to know Everett/Bobby. Big mouth Stephanie says Leo saw her coming out of Ev’s room and said they go way back. Connie angrily says she doesn’t know Everett and hangs up. Melinda asks about the phonecall. Connie tells her and Idiot Melinda states, but you’re the one who killed Everett. And Li. And stabbed the commissioner.
That reminds Connie that she told Melinda everything, which means Melinda must die. She holds the knife she was using to cut the food and Melinda begs her not to do it. Li didn’t want Connie to kill her and she needs to honor his wishes. Connie agrees. Melinda wants to know if she’s going to keep her here forever. Connie says she does want to get back to just her and Li. She doesn’t know what she’s going to do with Melinda until she gets her final revenge on Gabi. Then Li can rest in peace and we can all move forward.
Connie resolves to shut Leo’s mouth for good. Li doesn’t object to that, does he? Melinda briefly tries to talk her out of killing Leo. Connie puts the gag back in Melinda’s mouth, takes the food tray and leaves.
Melinda continues trying to get free. Jada knocks on the door.

I sure hope Melinda finds a way to scream so that Jada hears her. Connie needs to be caught and stopped.

"Misery" the movie comes to mind as Connie tortures Melinda Trask. I don't think she ate anything after all of that.
Connie makes a good villain if only because the audience must truly hate her feral guts.
As predicted Connie has her sights on killing off the entire town. The Leo "Big Mouth Strikes Again" Stark comment made me think of that Smiths song. Ha.
Will Jada make the right move. Not holding my breath. Not sure how Trask can make a noise all tied up. Maybe someway?

I think she might finally get one hand free and pull down the gag. I HOPE Connie isn't caught by Trask alerting Jada. The Columbo in me wants someone to put the puzzle pieces together and catch the vicious bitch with old fashioned sleuth work. And it doesn't have to be Jada although that would be a relief. It could be Ava or Steph or Leo or anyone. Just catch her with BRAIN WORK. Same goes for Sarah case. I don't want Fiona discovered via hypnosis etc. I want her caught with someone putting all the pieces together. More satisfying that way for me at least. Connie is so repellant I can understand why many want her caught ASAP but I want to see her trapped and tripped up by her own negligence. Plus of course caught before she kills someone else. |
