Jada questions Brady
In the penthouse apartment, Jada tells Brady she thinks his car was involved in the hit and run that nearly killed Sarah. Brady tells her the car was stolen the morning of the accident. He hasn’t had time to file a report. She thinks the person who stole his car is the same person who hit Sarah. She advises him to report the car stolen and leaves.

Jada questions Marlena
In the Penthouse parking lot, Jada runs into Marlena and askswhen she saw Brady’s car last. Marlena says he parked in their parking spot on the night of the 14th. She didn’t know it was stolen. Jada asks if Marlena saw Brady that night. No, he’d gone to bed, but the next day he told her someone else had parked in his space, so he parked in M&J’s space. Marlena wants to know why Jada has all these questions. Jada says she’s putting together a timeline.

Jada leaves. Marlena calls John and leaves a voicemail.

Xander runs into Jada outside the Salem Inn. She informs him they have a suspect.

Brady has been caught in a lie.

I thought this was a good way to use Marlena. If only she would stay in the background.

Jada is an excellent investigator. Rafe would have already arrested an innocent suspect by now. Brady (and Kristen) would have got away with this if Marlena had not innocently disputed Brady's timeline.

Xander is going to erupt when he hears Brady's name. Will he fire him or beat him up first? He will be safer in jail.

Quick thinking by Brady with the "timing" of his stolen car. Too bad his mother accidentally ratted him out. Ha.

Kristen added another layer to all of this for she doesn't know Brady was NOT responsible for the hit. She seemed a bit caring and a bit too confident in what she thinks. Hey Kristen did you ever ask Brady if he was in the car alone that night? But Brady is usually his own worst enemy and credit to Jada who has been on point the past two days.

What I am trying to figure out is how will the Fiona truth be revealed. As far as I can tell that will only happen if Fiona confesses.

But wait. I have watched enough Columbo episodes to realize there is always "evidence" and you never know.

Right now I would prefer Fiona gets caught in the old fashioned way by spot on gumshoe detective work.

Jada has been good but does she have it in her to get to the real truth. I have my doubts. I hope she proves me wrong though. I love good ole fashioned detective work that discovers all sorts of surprises.

As for Marlena she makes a good extra. Ha.

Two ways I can think of horizon

1. They made a big point of the waiter in the bar getting in Brady's face and Fiona diffusing it. If Jada asks questions he will remember Brady wasn't alone.

2. Fiona was with Sarah 20 minutes talking to her. She could recall the voice.

I like the first scenario as a door opener. The second one is far less exciting.

I want Fiona nabbed red handed. Totally exposed and suffering the consequences of her terrible deed. At this point not interested in Fiona redeeming herself. She should have done it already. Time limit is up. Ha.

I mean, Xander and Victor pretty much did the same thing to Will that Fiona is doing to Brady. That was worse though because Adrienne and Mickey both died as a result, and Will thought he'd caused Adrienne's death. If anybody is going to understand doing something insane to cover up a crime, it is Xander, but since Sarah is involved he won't.

I do think Fiona is a limited run character and after she is found out we will be into finding out she is dying. It's going to be a long depressing fall/winter for Xarah, but as long as they are solid as a couple I am good.

I don't want to get too lost in my sudden Jada groupie phase. Yes, she handled Xander like a pro and I like her perseverance and attention to detail regarding the gray car which will lead her to Brady. His mother buried him. Thanks ma. That is what mothers are for. Ha.

But with a capital B she has no clue who stabbed Rafe, and she completely MANGLED the Bobby death. Worst cop botch job I can think of. Not even sure Rafe would have messed that one up that badly. And because of her botch job Carnage Connie is slowly wiping out half the town right under her nose.

And to top it off with Brady she is BARKING up the WRONG tree. Sort of comedic the way the Salem PD is portrayed.

So, as it stands, she has actually not solved a damn thing. I will give her a little grace period with this Brady thing but if she doesn't somehow surmise Fiona was the one who ran over Sarah like she was a lost road squirrel then I will have to go back to my initial impression of her and the Salem PD in general. DUMBASS CENTRAL. With an emphasis on unearned pomposity.

Jada blew it by blabbing to Xander that she has a suspect. The suspect is not in police custody. Right now, it's circumstantial evidence. Why tell Xander, who Jada knows with certainty is a hothead. She is signing Brady's death warrant and ensuring Xander will end up in jail for beating/killing Brady. It is totally inappropriate for Jada to talk about an active investigation. Her job is to investigate. Not to be the judge, jury and executioner.
