Why face reconstruction etc is not believable (Read 101 times)

I know we have to suspend disbelief when watching a fictional TV show or movie. But one thing that wouldn't change in facial reconstruction are the eyes. Chad or Jen or Jack would only need to find a photo of Abigail and hold it up to this woman they've decided is Abigail and look at her eyes. They'd be the same if it was really her.

This applies to masks too.

I mean, everybody bought that John was Roman for 6 years and he was 6 inches taller and his eyes were a different colour. Either the audience is meant to be stupid or all the characters are. Or both!!

You're right. Height is another "dead" giveaway. You can't really get taller by changing your face.

Different frame, height and build altogether
I think we as an audience settled on “Brady is just too dumb to notice” and then he admitted to knowing it was Kristin
It is stupid though
