Jada is on the phone with someone,saying she needs a list of potential matches to the partial license plate. Xander storms in, yelling that she’s in here instead of investigating. Jada hangs up and tells him he can’t barge in. He demands to know why she hasn’t arrested the SOB who mowed down his wife.
Xander accuses Jada of not lifting a finger and just being happy to cash a paycheck while keeping Rafe's seat warm. Jada tells him to watch his tone. He insists she find the person who did this. Jada says the Salem PD is already doing everything they can. He doesn’t believe her. Jada tries to diffuse the situation by expressing sympathy over Sarah being paralyzed. Xander demands she just do her job, saying it’s been days, and she’s no closer to finding out who did this. Jada counters that’s not true. He retorts that he hasn’t seen an arrest. Jada says if he hadn’t stormed into her office, he would have found out she has a new lead.
Jada explains the situation with the car. Xander demands the information so Titan can investigate too. Jada refuses, saying it’s a police investigation and Titan can’t interfere. Xander insists it’s his wife. Jada tells him to let them do their job and not scare possible suspects. She reminds him this will take as much time as it takes and advises him to go to the hospital and be with his wife. Xander asks if she’ll call him as soon as she knows anything. Jada promises to call when they make an arrest. Xander threatens that whoever did this better pray the police find them before he does. He storms out.

Good thing Jada didn't give him the plate info. Titan would have ID's Brady's car immediately and Xander would have gone after him to bash out his own form of justice. He is his own worst enemy.

Xander tried bullying Jada and thankfully she would have none of it. This was probably the most professional scene Jada has ever been in and from what I can tell she is doing a good job pursuing the hit and run on Sarah.
And she drew the line with Xander about him trying on a vigilante cape.
Too bad she hasn't brought this sort of focus to the Bobby death. And Rafe stabbing. Etc.
[Late edit] More head spinning for Xander as his mum and Brady are sleeping together. Just another addition to the potent "cocktail" no pun intended. Ha.

Jada did very well here. She was totally sensitive to Xander's anger and shut it down beautifully while also calming the beast.
Rafe who? There's a Rafe?
