Stefan appears in Gabi’s office as she is on the phone with a vendor. Stefan speaks his piece, trying to convince Gabi that he made a terrible mistake sleeping with Ava. Gabi is the love of his life. He asks her to come home with him and talk things out. Stefan thinks that he has gotten through to Gabi when she agrees to go home with him. Gabi turns on him - she will go home to pack. She is leaving.

This was great the way Gabi misdirected the fool but sadly (see rest of the show for spoiler).
