Abe runs after Alex. Has Alex ever thought about being an actor? Alex tells Abe he was never into acting, he was into sports at school and never even did a school play. Alex tells him about the part he needs to cast. Alex says again he is not an actor. Abe says none of the cast are (and this isn’t a problem??). Alex concedes that he has lots of time on his hands since his marriage was annulled and he is no longer CEO of Titan. All he has is contemplating how to fill his empty days. Sad story, Alex, but Xander didn’t fire you.
Alex’s sad and lonely life sounds perfect to Abe. He tells him though that if he got the part he would be cast opposite Chanel. Alex reminds Abe that Chanel can’t stand him. Abe says exactly, that’s why they should do it, use all that delicious anger on screen. Alex does not think either Johnny or Chanel would be on board. Abe tells him to just show up for the audition. He complements Alex’s looks. Alex immediately folds and agrees to do it.
Alex will get the script via email. If Chanel doesn’t get the part they will make sparks fly with somebody else, Abe assures him.

I guess we are heading to an Alex/Chanel hookup. Thanks for ruining one of best couples on the show.
