After calling out of work, Connie says to Li's cutout that she is playing hooky to spend the day with him. She asks the cutout why it's not talking to her. Is he mad she lied? Well, Gbai will get hers. She will get ®evenge for Gabi ruining Li's life.
Connie "plyas" chraades with the cut-out by having a one-sided conversation guessing the charade he's presenting in her imagination. Melinda knocks on the door.
Connie says she'll get rid of the moron and opens the door partway. She refuses to let Melinda in. She's sick. Melinda says she had that cold last week. She didn't want to do this in the hall, but Connie is fired. Connie asks if Gabi knows about this. Melinda says not yet, but she'll undrstand when she learns that Connie fabricated everything on her resume. She wants Connie to give back her laptop and badge. Connie refuses. Melinda says she's sure Connie doesn't want her to involve the police.

The only thing Connie had going for her was dead Li. She's awful. But gosh, I adore Melinda and want to see more of her

Trask does not know Connie is a serial killer. She thinks she is crazy but when dealing with a sociopathic killer maniac the last thing you want to do is unknowingly expose yourself.
Apparently, Trask doesn't believe she is dangerous which could prove to be a fatal mistake. It takes an army to bring down the wicked. Not some moonlighting play detective trying to take things into their own hands.

Connie appears to be harmless and innocuous, making her really dangerous. Most serial killers glide thru society under the radar. They rarely are pointed out as conspicuous which is why they are able to commit one heinous crime after another. They make me sick. They are very crafty and commit their crimes like a diamond cutter. They know EXACTLY what they are doing. Their sadism marks their motivation. |
