Mystery Woman comes in and says to Stefano’s portrait, “Why do you always look like you know something the rest of us don’t?” Chad comes in with breakfast. She says she slept really well. “Was that Abigail’s favorite breakfast?” Chad says Abigail isn’t much of a breakfast person. Stefan comes in and asks if Mystery Woman has met Gabi since she is wearing her robe. He wants to know who she is. Chad says, “You’ve met. This is Abby.” Stefan laughs.

Stefan says, “Abigail? I don’t understand.” Chad says, “I told you I’ve been looking for the woman in the video? We found her.” Stefan says, “I know you’ve had a rough go since that horrible night, but, um, that’s not Abigail.” Chad says, “The DNA test says it is.”

Stefan says, “So this is Abigail with plastic surgery?” Mystery Woman says, “Sorry, I don’t remember you at all but we obviously know each other. Stefan, right?” Chad says, “This is my half brother, Stefan O. Dimera.” Mystery Woman says, “So you were named after Stefano? We were close?” Stefan says, “Let’s say we had a complicated relationship.” Chad says that would be an understatement.

Mystery Woman says, “Is there something I should know about our past?” Stefan says, “Let’s just say I’m happy you’re back.” She says, “Thank you. Me too, I think.” She says she is going to take a shower. “Thanks anyway for the breakfast.” She leaves, and Stefan says, “That is unbelievable.” Chad says, “You think?” Stefan says, “You must be…” Chad says, “I am.” Stefan says, “I can’t even…” Chad says, “Neither can I.” Stefan says, “If she needs any help with coming back from the dead you can send her to me. Thank you for not…” Chad says, “Telling her you raped her? I didn’t do that for you. I did that for her. She doesn’t remember and doesn’t want to meet the kids yet so it would be too traumatic right now.” Stefan says, “I get it. A little advice… you might want to fill her in on some things because being back here might trigger memories she’s not quite prepared for.”

Mystery Woman comes into the room Abigail died in. She picks up a photo of Chad and Abigail and stares at it.

Stefan says a lot of bad stuff happened here. Chad says he hasn’t forgotten that. Stefan says, “Just trying to help.” Chad says, “I’m doing my best to manage everyone’s needs.” Stefan says, “Do you have any idea how she…” Chad says, “Survived? No.” Stefan says, “Dr. Rolf?” Chad says he has no idea. Jack calls.

Mystery Woman sits down on the bed. Chad comes in and says, “What are you doing in here?” Mystery Woman says something drew her in here. Chad says this was their room. She says, “Why didn’t you take me here last night?” Chad says, “It’s where you were stabbed.” Mystery Woman stands and says, “Oh?” Mystery Woman says, “Who did it? Not that I would know them.” He says it was Clyde.

Mystery Woman says, “But Clyde took care of me. I don’t understand.” Chad says he doesn’t understand either. Mystery Woman says, “Take it you guys weren’t BFFs.” Chad says, “You once dated his son and he is an oddly protective father. If you knew the circumstances you wouldn’t believe you are standing here right now.” Mystery Woman says, “So it happened in this room?” Chad says, “Yeah, and it’s not an easy thing to remember or think about. You should be thankful you don’t remember this.” She says, “Things I look forward to, huh?” Chad says there will be a lot of surprises, mostly beautiful. I want to keep you from being knocked off your feet. “Speaking of surprises….” She says, “Oh no.” He says, “Your mom flew in. Your mom, Jennifer…” She says, “Jennifer?” He says, “If it’s too much for you…” She says, “No, I’m Abigail Dimera so I think I need to learn where I come from and where I belong.”

Jennifer  and Jack arrive at the mansion. Jennifer hugs Chad and says, “Where is she?” Chad says she’s upstairs getting dressed.

Upstairs, Mystery Woman calls someone and says, “It’s me. Everything’s going according to plan.”

I knew she was up to no good. Wonder who she REALLY is and who she is talking to.

"Helen of Troy" looked marvelous as they would say in that robe. Maybe she is part of a three-way with Clyde and Goldman. Ha. Who knows with this show.

Anyway, color me happy.

I hate to be sadistic (well actually I don't) but I have had it up to my neck With Chad and his mopey disposition. Guy has been wandering around like a stilted Zombie for ages now. Snap out of it you damn ghoul.

Anyone familiar with the great romantic comedy "Moonstruck." I loved the scene where Cher smacked Nic Cage and said "snap out of it" after he declared his love for her.

So, I am glad Chad is being deceived (albeit I feel sorry for Jack and Jennifer) and it gives this new chick a better backdrop as opposed to being Abigail because (DUH) she doesn't look like her and her disposition is far removed as well. Not even the slightest resemblance on ALL fronts.
