Gabi sees a photo of her and Stefan on her desk. She slams it down, and then Connie calls. Connie says she is sick. Gabi tells her to feel better soon. Connie is more concerned about Gabi’s revenge on Stefan and Ava.

Gabi tells Connie she needs absolute proof. Kristen walks in, and Gabi says she knows how she’ll get it. She hangs up.


Kristen picks the photo up and says Gabi must have knocked it over by mistake. She says Gabi has been working all night so she is checking in. She anticipates profiting from this but everyone needs a healthy life/work balance. You and Stefan have spent too much time apart which is not good for a relationship. You need to be proactive before it becomes a problem. Gabi says, “You think we have a problem?” Kristen says, “I’m just saying be proactive. I plan all my time with Rachel but there was a crime scene I couldn’t predict.” She tells Gabi about the accident. She says it was a gray car. Gabi says Ava has a gray car. Kristen says, “Ava is the hit and run driver?” Gabi says, “Nah, she was too busy sleeping with my husband.”

Kristen says, “What???” Gabi says, “Apparently it was a one-off so apparently not going on now.” Kristen says, “So you think…” Gabi says, “I don’t think. I know. My husband slept with Ava while I was languishing in prison.” Kristen says she doesn’t buy it. She hasn’t heard any rumors. Stefan loves Gabi and never stopped. Her imagination must be running wild. Gabi says that Connie said she overheard Ava and Kristen talking about it. Kristen says Connie misunderstood. Gabi says that Connie said Ava said she had a terrible feeling that Stefan was going to tell her that he slept with Ava while she was in prison. There was no other interpretation, was there?

Kristen doesn’t appreciate being called a liar. Gabi says, “You’re making a mistake. Do you like your job?” Kristen says, “Excuse me?” Gabi says, “Stefan may be your brother who helped you get this job, but you’d better recalibrate your loyalties because I’m the one who’s helping you keep it.” She says her contract, paragraph 14, section J, says she can take her company away from Dimera at any time. “So stop with the games or I take Gabi Chic to your biggest competitor. Tell me what you know or you’ll lose everything.” Kristen says, “Fine, you’re right, everything you said was true. Stefan and Ava slept together.”

Ava walks in. Gabi says she was just talking about how great she and Ava are getting along at work. She tells Ava to come to lunch with her at the Bistro. Ava tries to tell her about Melinda firing Connie, but Gabi says to tell her at lunch and sends Ava to wait for her outside. Ava goes and Kristen asks Gabi what her plan is. Gabi says to have patience, and in the meantime, she'd better do exactly what Gabi tells her or Gabi will cancel the relaunch and Kristen will lose everything.

Again the actress playing Gabi is working in true Gabi fashion.

This is a different version of Gabi. More serious and I miss the goofy side of the old Gabi.

Most can't pull off such bright red lipstick but she pulled it off along were her "barely there" dress.
