Marlena receives an early morning visit from Kristen and Rachel. Rachel had a dream that something bad happened to her father. Marlena tells her that Brady is sleeping. They go to make pancakes until Brady wakes.

Brady comes to in the car. He realizes that he may have driven drunk. Brady enters the penthouse to find Kristen there. She is glad that Rachel did not see him in that condition. He taunts her that Basic Black will crush Gabi Chic. Rachel is greeted by a cleaned up Brady. She is happy he is okay and wants to spend the day with him. Kristen agrees but today is a mother-daughter day.

Brady calls Fiona. She tells him that he told her he was fine to drive home last night. She cuts the conversation short by telling him Sarah was in an accident.

Marlena fills in more details about the hit and run.

Even Rachel was submerged today. No energy in this scene and too much Marlena of late.

Brady is covering up as much as Fiona is. They are both alcoholics skilled at presenting a 'sober' face to their loved ones.

I don't believe a child Rachel's age would say "He didn't sleep in his bed last night." I call BS on that one.
