Sarah is motionless with bloody scrapes covering her hand & face. Fiona tries to wake up Brady and is afraid she hit someone. She runs back and finds Sarah sprawled out on the ground.

Fiona panics when she realizes she hit her son’s wife. She finds Sarah’s pulse and realizes she is still alive. Fiona wonders what she will tell the police when she hears Xander calling for Sarah. She leaves and Xander rushes to Sarah’s side as the car drives away. He calls for an ambulance.

Very selfish drunk. All about self preservation and keeping her and Brady's secrets. Thankfully Xander was there fast.

Poor Sarah (and Xander).

Sarah has had enough wedding day/night blackouts and car hits.

There is a reason they tell people not to drink and drive. Heck these two are on a path to sign up for a needle exchange program soon if they don't slow down a wee bit.

But a mother-in-Law running over her daughter in law is very common. My gallows humor but many daughters in laws can relate.

The irony though. Xander's "reformed ma" mows over Sarah and leaves the scene of the crime.

How did Xander know Sarah was hit by a car when he didn't see the accident? I know there was the sound of a car squealing off, but Xander's not clairvoyant.
