I saw a picture on Day Ro that showed Rafe in all white in pretty much an all white room that said something about him having to get used to his new home at the asylum.  |

Looks like he's slowly going crazy anyway and it makes sense that Sami would have him committed. I can hear it now..."I'm not Rafe!! My name is (insert name here)!!! Stefano and EJ did plastic surgery on me to get me to look like Rafe. I'm not crazy!!!!" If anybody said that in real life, you know they'd be committed. |

I read at Dayscafe.com late last night that Rafe1 was in fact sent to an asylum where he does whatever he can to gather his wits and escape.

Well, Rafe1 is committed, breaks out, and has Rafe2 committed instead?
IDK...
I was hoping that Stefano would employ Rafe1 somehow/somewhere and he'd get all evil (but deep down thought that what he was doing was wrong). He'd come back to Salem for a job and get his memory back.
Then true to soap land, he'd have done some things he couldn't live with, so he feels he doesn't deserve to be with Sami anymore...
