Gabi is upset that Dimitri is ignoring their calls and plans to send him a threatening text. But she doesn't know which would be worse. Reminding him that he could lose his inheritance or the threat of what Gwen will do to his manhood when she finds out he's been sleeping with Leo.

Gabi wants to tighten the thumbscrews. She thinks they'll be top dog at Dimera when they have Dimitri's shares, but Stefan points out that they'll tie for the most shares with EJ.

Stefan expects he and Gabi will have their shares plus Jake's, and he expects Kristen, Steven, and Peter to vote with them. But EJ has his shares, plus he'll likely have Tony, Chad, Lee, Johnny, and Kate.

Gabi thinks she can convince Li to vote with them. She plans to seduce him.

Stefan flips out. He doesn't want her to sleep with Li. He doesn't want her so much as batting an eyelash his way because as much as he loves power, he loves his wife even more.

Gabi says she was just trying to get Stefan all hot and bothered, and the two have sex.

Gabi says Li is not a problem. Dimitri is. They go downstairs to find him.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Dimitri returns after Gwen leaves, and Kristen pulls a gun on him. He swears he’ll pay her her share. She says it’s obvious what his intent is. Dimitri says she’s bluffing. Kristen cocks the gun and asks if he’s sure about that.

Dimitri promises that as soon as he gets the second installment check, she’ll be swimming in cash. Kristen says she already should be swimming in cash. Threatening to tell Gwen about him, and Leo didn’t put a fire under his feet, so maybe this will.

Dimitri: You talk a good game, Kristen, but out of all the horrible things that you have done in your life, you have never actually killed anyone. Not that I know of. Not personally, anyway. And I really don’t think that you’re going to start today. Are you? Over some measly money, Auntie. Are you?

He takes the gun from her. He knows how to read people. It’s a gift. Kristen promises him this isn’t over and she leaves.

Stefan and Gabi arrive. They want to talk about getting their shares. Dimitri pulls the gun on them. Stefan says he can’t be serious. Dimitri says, try me. He was about to hand those shares over to them, but then he got to thinking. Knowing that Stefan and Gabi are basically two grifters, it wouldn’t end there. They would hold what he did over his head for as long as they could profit from it. So he just has to nip this in the bud. Leo begged him not to go to these extremes, but he’ll just have to make him understand.

Gabi says he can keep the shares. They have plenty. But Dimitri tells them they will make absolutely beautiful corpses. Stefan grabs Gabi and gets in front of her. A gunshot goes off, but neither of them has been shot.

Dimitri has been shot and falls to the floor…with Vivian behind him, holding a gun.

OK, I can get behind Vivian shooting DiMitri. Alamains and Von Leuchners have an old feud.

I guess Vivian had to protect her precious son Stefan who once took a bullet for her.

Aren't all these Dimeras supposed to be filthy rich? Why are they so focused on Dmitri's fortune?

I've grown fond of Dmitri. I hope this isn't the end for him.

The show is traveling at a very fast speed veering towards a wreck. Guns flailing etc. Not sure this stuff is sustainable but that said a spark of excitement here with Vivian nailing dumbass Dimitri.

Gabi and Stefan are annoying together, but Gabi still has the gift of drawing laughs telling Dimitri they have plenty of shares. Going to miss her in general but not her relationship with Stefan.

I was worried that Gabi was going to take a bullet in these scenes. I'm happy I was wrong.

I hope he lives. If Dimitri dies it would be a dumb way to end his story with Gwen and Leo.
