High - I guess it was good to see Edmund again. EJ and Nicole provided some comic relief. Glad Li was onto Trask.
Low - All things Sloan.

A quietly effective show with two surprises.
Highs - The surreal gothic turn for fellow travelers Ava and Harris; Trask on the other end of the stick for a change; Humorous dialogue between EJ and Nicole; Sloan's strange facial expressions
Lows - Paulina throwing her weight around in an (expected) unprofessional manner

I felt like today's show was the B team, B storylines, back-up characters. Not very engaging.

I felt like today's show was the B team, B storylines, back-up characters. Not very engaging. B make me think of a B- movie and in some ways today's show felt B movie campy like. I sort of like that kind of oft kilter stuff. |

Highs:
Edmund's delight when he said Susan was tied up in the bedroom
Nicole being cool with EJ ordering actual murders (shows again why she is so completely wrong for Eric)
Sloan being above a pub wedding. You go girl!
Lows:
Paulina firing Melinda cause she doesn't like her and she was 'mean' to her daughter? And blatantly stating this
Kate acting like she has lost a granddaughter. It was one day Kate. Barely an hour actually all told that you knew the kid

Barely an hour actually all told that you knew the kid Grade A Highs and Lows list. Two things. Good point about Kate's "one day if that" granddaughter. As for Nicole the "moral arbitrator" and goody two shoes. She crabs about Eric going out with a slut and sleazy lawyer in Sloan. Yet she is somehow groovy dating a fellow who just ordered a brutal hit on Ava. Never looks in the mirror. |
