Ava is skeptical about the Edmund connection. Harris is new to supernatural stuff but is sure it means something. The Internet is slow but eventually they get Edmund's address.
They go there and ring the bell. He doesn't answer. Harris figures Edmund is too old to go clubbing and must be asleep. They ring the bell again.
Edmund answers. Why are they ringing his bell in the middle of the night? They tell him it's about Susan.
They come in and Edmund says he heard on the telly that a crazy woman drove Susan off a cliff. Harris keeps defending Ava without mentioning her name. They tell him about the sign Susan left in the plate. Edmund says Susan is chained up in his bedroom. Ava thinks he's joking. He says he's not.
Suddenly, Harris and Ava feel dizzy. Edmund says he poisoned their tea. They gasp for breath and pass out.
Edmund puts them on a bed in another room. They are still unconscious. Susan comes out and says, "Edmund, Edmund, Edmund. What do you think you are doing?"

This felt like a scene out of "Dark Shadows." I don't recall this dapper Crumb fellow, but the twist made me laugh for some reason. Poor Ava and Harris. Born losers who fall into trouble without even trying.
For all those Susan fans (not me) you can rejoice. Her entrance had me scratching my head though. No idea what the hell is going on but this Crumb guy strikes me as obviously sinister. Those chains on Susan gave me the creeps.
Also glad the Keystone cops Jada and Rafe hadn't caught up to Ava or Harris yet.

I'm disappointed in Navy Seal Harris for letting his guard down. Pro tip: Don't take tea from strangers. At least Susan isn't chained up. Or did I miss something? horizon? |

You got me. I'll leave it at she "might" have been chained up and let someone clarify that and I will say no more. Ha. |

I just rewatched that scene horizon and she does have chains on her ankles. Good catch. Eesh. |

Did Mr crumb drug them for waking him up in the middle of the night or was his plan to drug any fool who came around asking bout Susan
