Eric shows up with suitcases at Sloan's. She asks if he's going somewhere. He says here. THey're moving in together, remember?

Sloan is surprised he wants to. He used to be a priest and now he's living in sin. He says he was kicked out of the priesthood for doing unauthorized exorcisms. Besides, they won't be living in sin for long, since they're engaged. 

They discuss where to get married. Sloan hates the smell of chowder, so not the Pub. Eric tells her Rex and Sarah got married yesterday. Sloan says and I wasn't invited? Eric says he wasn't either because Sarah is his ex. Anyway, he doesn't want the Pub either as he married Nicole there. Sloan apologizes for bringing up that memory.

Sloan asks if Belle is handling the adoption. Eric doesn't think that's a good idea. Sloan says so Belle hates me? Eric explains Belle has a lot going on in her personal life so they need a different attorney.

Sloan gets a text from Melinda. Eric is surprised they're friends now. Sloan says that they are only rivals in the courthouse and she has trouble making female friends. Is it okay if she goes check on Melinda? Eric says of course. Sloan says she's excited about adopting a baby. She kisses him and goes.

Eric finds a photo of him and Nicole buried in a pile of books he is unpacking. 

There's a knock on the door. It's Marlena. Kate told Eric was here. Eric is sorry that he didn't tell Marlena he was moving. He got busy. Marlena understands. Eric says that he and Sloan feel right and that they're adopting a baby. He always wanted to be a father. Marlena notices the photo of Nicole. She glances in that direction as she says she hopes it all works out.

This was OK but Sloan's vaguely amusing facial expressions veered from surreal to outright strange.

Naturally a photo of Eric and Nicole gets the "put it in lights" treatment.

Sloan is way too high maintenance for Eric.
