I agree. I hope they can manage to turn this character around. Although, I am not sure if they can do anything to change the way that he speaks. I do not mind the actor himself, just the way he talks

I didn't like Will when he first came on...not at all...his mannerisms and facial expressions grated on my nerves.....but he turned into a fine actor and I enjoy the character now..... I can't stand Carly....didn't like her from day one, even if she hadn't gotten involved with Bo, I couldn't stand her,...but now, I'm softening on her and her scenes with Sami etc. have been interesting to watch.... Chad was stiff and wooden when he came on and I thought, what a waste, send the guy back to where he came from....now I look forward to his scenes...he is so natural and believable....his scenes with Stefano are delicious...!!!! So, to make a long story short, oops too late for that.....I can't stand Dairyfarm now but who knows, maybe in months to come I'll change my mind about him too....but I still would certainly enjoy hearing his last day is next week...!!!

I know what you mean Pallison. He has a lot to overcome, though, because of the way he has been introduced. He's so pro-Arianna, but she never mentioned the guy?I'd like to see a better backstory for his character though. Was he homeless before? I mean he was a crook, but a bad one, but he sure doesn't look like a ragamuffin so what's he been up to? If they flesh him out a bit, instead of having him be just a surly boy with an attitude, it may help to make him more palatable. I for one would liked him to be a wee bit older.

From SOD Online March 22, 2011 I had the most delightful conversation recently with DAYS newcomer Francisco St. Martin (Dario), who was so friendly and interesting during our interview. Unfortunately, I am not loving how his alter ego is being integrated into the canvas. Let's start with the fact that his whole raison d'être is to track down but his sister Arianna's hit-and-run killer. You remember Arianna — the poorly fleshed-out character who was randomly killed off in October 2010 and has barely been mentioned since. You know why? Because we don't care anymore — the ship has sailed on Arianna. It was sort of a good-bye, good riddance situation when she left. (With no offense to Lindsay Hartley, who did her best to make it work!) The show has also thrown St. Martin in too quickly with Molly Burnett's Melanie. Their scenes are just too angry, too fast. I'm assuming we're going down the "I hated-her/him-at-first-and-now-it's-love" route, but frankly, it's not hooking me in yet. Let's hope there's more in store for this newbie — and for Burnett — in the weeks ahead. soapoperadigest.com/opinions/stephanie/Wow she nailed it!
