A run in with her beloved pooch, Boomer, has left Days of Our Lives' Lauren Koslow (Kate) with a fractured ankle. "It's true, my darling Boomer collided into me. I'm on crutches so, unfortunately, I won't be [with] team #days in Chicago," tweeted Koslow, referring to the Chicago Flower & Garden Show she was set to attend with some co-stars on March 9. Koslow quickly began receiving get well messages from fans and cast mates upon posting news of her injury "Sorry your foot was hurt by boomer, aptly named, but it's fun to see you all over twitter today," tweeted Peter Reckell (Bo). Meanwhile, Sarah Brown (Madison) added, "Oh nooooo. That's awful. Hope you feel better soon. Kiss smooch." As for Boomer, Koslow noted that "he's sorry! Still just a pup." Meanwhile, the actress assured all that she was "on da mend." I'm sure they'll mention it somehow. It will most likely be a throwaway line, but they'll say something. Either that or she'll be sitting down a lot.
