Ok peoples.....how are ya'll doing? Some of you may have seen me post in some threads here and there but now I am officially starting one. Can I have a round of applause please?  (Ok this emoticon is the closest I could find for clapping and yes I am cheesy ;D )My thread, as you guys can tell from the Subject heading, is about Shawn Christian/Daniel Jonas appreciation. I know some people may not like the character of Daniel, some may just not like Shawn, and some may not like neither one, but I am totally, 150%, irrevocably head over heels in love with both.  March 4, 2008 - I remember it clearly. It was just like any other Tuesday. I was watching Days with my mom, watching Chelsea feed some birds in the park, when a man with jeans, a jean jacket, backpack, looking a little gruff and nothing like a doctor, sat beside Chelsea. I was like...wow he is cute...and turned to my mom and was like who is that? My mom gave me a weird look saying I don't know lol. I watched the scene with him and Chelsea and by the end of it, I turned to my mom again and was like omg, those two have to get together. Again my mom is like what? lol. I was a Dansea fan from the start....and also like Chelsea, I was smitten with this handsome stranger to Salem.I saw him come in and being introduced as Dr. Daniel Jonas and immediately I am like oh wow this is so great. I really liked he was a doctor. I loved his character, loved his laid back attitude, his surfer language, and how much he cared for his patients. I personally thought he was a well written character in the beginning and he had some edge to him, some fun, some mystery, some seriousness, some sadness, had a past, and how he loved being a doctor. I thought Shawn did a great job portraying this character and I think he still does. I also loved (yes, in case you guys have not guessed, I was/am a Dansea fan lol) his interaction with Chelsea and I personally thought Shawn and Rachel had some off the charts great chemistry and great scenes together. I really like how Days wrote their story and it reminded me a little bit of Bo and Hope and Doug and Julie all wrapped up into one. I have seen many interviews with Shawn and I love how he describes his character as being misunderstood lol. I can kind of see that. I also think Shawn seems to be very down to earth in his interviews and very funny. I am always cracking up with something he says and how he can be a bit naughty at times. I personally think that Shawn Christian is just one of the hottest men out there. Some on here may not agree, but I just love everything about him, his personality, his looks and the fact that he is a good actor. Despite all the different story lines, both good and crappy ones, that Days has thrown at both Shawn and Daniel, Shawn never seems to miss a beat in playing Daniel. Below is a couple of pictures of him and one of my favorite scenes, taken during Dansea time, but still all so hot. 
Locker Room Scene
This is the infamous locker room scene. I love how she tells him off and he still spins her around and kisses her. And um, even though people may not have liked Dansea, I do like to think that we all wish we were Rachel/Chelsea in the locker room when he slams her up against the locker, making out with her. I know I would have loved to be in her place in that scene!! WOO HOO!!! Just thinking about it is enough to make my head spin!  (Finally found a way to use this emoticon!!)

oops got excited by the locker room clip. I loved Shawn Christian since he was Mike on ATWT. I followed his career after that. When I heard he was coming to Days I was so excited. Loved the Daniel and Chelsea story and I don't even like older men younger women stories. But RM and SC's chemistry was amazing. That smile...mmm LOVE IT    |

LOL nice!!! And so cute still! And you got to meet both Shawn and Rachel together too, which I thought was awesome! I got to meet Rachel and she was very cool and very very down to earth. Now my next thing is to meet Shawn!!

Did anyone ever watch Shawn Christian when he was on As The World Turns and played the character of Mike Casnoff. I loved him in that role and he had amazing chemistry with Maura West.

Thanks for starting this thread... I am a Shawn/Daniel fan also. I have trying to defend him for quite a while now, but I was overwhelmed by the hate he has been getting.. I love Shawn's sense of humor and it is a welcome change to see a man with some hair on his chest.
Nice pics and nice way to start my day!
