I've adored all the Abigails, but must confess I have a deep affection for Marci Miller.
Like with Abby, I've also adored all the Billies but I have a deep affection for Krista Allen in the part.

It's fascinating to me that so many people here liked Vivian Jovanni! I honestly thought she was a terrible downgrade from the child Ciara and probably the worst actress ever on Days besides Charity Rahmer (the two-week Belle). I'm genuinely curious to know -- is it because you came to dislike Victoria Konefal so much that you look back on Jovanni fondly?
I wouldn't count Freddie Smith as Sonny as a recast. He was the first Sonny ever onscreen (we never met baby Sonny because he was born offscreen). I like Zack Tinker in the role, though, but I have hated most of what they've given him to do.

Agree mikey. I thought Vivian Jovanni was one of the worst actresses ever on Days and I couldn't wait for her to leave. She had no depth and one facial expression. I don't recall any Gabis before Banus. |

I don't recall any Gabis before Banus. I was so relieved when Jovanni left! I'm legitimately curious to hear from people who consider her a fav recast, though. There was an actress named Gabriela Rodriguez (I believe) who played Gabi Hernandez for about a year before Camila Banus came on. I think she began in 2009 and was gone by the time Arianna 1.0 died in fall 2010. |
