(Carrie is in her office joined by Sami,Gabi,Abigail and Melanie)
CARRIE - How are you guys feeling about next week?
MELANIE - I will be happy when it's over to be honest
SAMI - I can understand that
ABIGAIL - We all can
GABI - Yeah but hopefully they lock him away for good
(Carrie's phone rings)
SAMI - It's like de ja vu
(Carrie grabs the phone)
CARRIE - Carrie Brady speaking. Wait what? When? Ok I will let them know.
(Carrie ends the call)
ABIGAIL - Everything ok?
MELAINE - Dont tell me they have postponed the trial again
CARRIE - Indefinetly actually
GABI - They cant do that?
CARRIE - Well they can when the defendants dead
ABIGAIL - EJ's dead
SAMI - What?
CARRIE - They were complications and he went into cardic arrest
MELANIE - I thought he was recovering
CARRIE - We all did but apparently it was sudden
ABIGAIL - Well at least we dont have to look over our shoulders anymore

Thank you André DiMera for your comments this week and your ongoing support. Here is what is coming up next week. Allie and Derek get ready to leave for Australia and bid farewell just for now to Lucas,Sami,Sydney,Amelia,Michael,Bianca,Joel and Lauren but before heading to the airport in front of their families Derek gives Allie her promise ring. Before heading to the hospital to find out the gender of the baby Abigail tells Austin about EJ's death and later Abigail and Austin learn if their baby will be a boy or a girl. After learning from Claire about Ciara, Shawn heads over there and sees Ciara with their Dad and that they are refusing to leave each others side but Shawn joins them and Ciara explains to both Bo and Shawn why what happened happened. Everything that has happened finally catches up with Gabi and she has a breakdown and Dario is the one to find her. Allie and Derek arrive in Erinsborough and reunite with Steph,Lucas,Amber,Mal,Terese and Brad before they along with Steph and Lucas head to the site in Erinsborough where the Vintage Bike Festival will be. THIS WEEK SEES THE RETURN OF AMBER TURNER - Jenna Rosenow BRAD WILLIS - Kip Gamblin LUCAS FITZGEARLD - Scott Major MAL KENNEDY - Benji McNair STEPH SCULLY - Carla Bonner TERESE WILLIS - Rebekah Elmaloglou |

ALLIE - I will and thank you Mom
SAMI - Of course love you
ALLIE - You too
(Allie and Sami hug)
LUCAS - Honey I will miss you
ALLIE - You too Dad I love you
LUCAS - I love you too
(Lucas and Allie hug)
JOEL - Alright everybody time to go
DEREK - Actually before we do go there's something I need to do
(Everyone execpt Lucas looks confused)
AMELIA - It's always scary when my brother says that
(Derek grabs a box out of his pocket)
DEREK - Allie I want you to know that I promise to love you unconditionally with my heart and I will never stop loving and protecting you. I love you
(Derek places ring on Allie's finger)
SYDNEY - Oh My God
ALLIE - I love you too
LAUREN - Hate to say this you best get going
(Allie and Derek follow as Bianca opens the door for him and Michael does for Allie and Joel jumps in the drivers seat)
BIANCA - Stay Safe
SAMI - What she said
ALLIE - We will
DEREK - I will keep her safe Mr and Mrs Horton
LUCAS - We know you will
MICHAEL - Bon Vouage
(Joel drives off and Allie and Derek wave)

(Abby walks in and sees Austin standing waiting for her)
ABBY - Sorry I'm late. Meeting took longer than planned
AUSTIN - I get it you have to be prepared but we do have to leave for the appointment

AUSTIN - Don't tell me my ex wife got another call saying they are postpoing
ABBY - Yep indefinetly this time though
AUSTIN - What they're letting him off

ABBY - Carrie got a call EJ's dead
AUSTIN - What?
ABBY - Yeah it's a long story anyway we should go
AUSTIN - Ok
(Austin opens door and puts arm around Abby and they walk out)
SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
(Austin and Abby are in room Abby is laying down on bed and Daniel enters)
DANIEL - Hey Guys
AUSTIN - Hey man
ABIGAIL - Hey
DANIEL - Your Aunt Kayla apologises she's stuck in an emergency surgery
ABIGAIL - That's fine
AUSTIN - We understand
DANIEL - From my understanding you want to find out what you're having is that correct?
ABIGAIL AND AUSTIN - We do
(Daniel places sonographer on Abby's stomach and moves it around)
DANIEL - Congratulations guys it looks like Baby Reed will be a boy
ABIGAIL - Oh my God
AUSTIN - A son

(Bo and Ciara are sitting on the couch her head in his chest and loud pounding is heard from the door)
SHAWN - Ciara
BO - Come in man
(Shawn enters house)
SHAWN - Dad hey
BO - Hey
SHAWN - Hey sis. i heard what happened this afternoon
(Ciara moves head out of Bo's chest but remains in his embrace)
CIARA - How?
SHAWN - I overheard Mom and Claire talking at the station before Mom came home and Claire filled me in
BO - Makes sense little one dont be angry at Claire
CIARA - I'm not. Guess you think I'm crazy too
SHAWN - No I don't but what I don't understand is why you tried to kill yourself?
BO - That's something your Mom and i have tried to get out of her as well
SHAWN - Keeping it tight lipped? Where is Mom?
BO - She's gone to get some chowder for us
SHAWN - Right
(Shawn takes seat beside Ciara on sofa)
CIARA - Ok fine since Mom's not here I will tell you two
SHAWN - So you didnt want Mom to know
CIARA - No
BO - Why?
CIARA - She wouldn't understand after all she treated you like crap when your life was crap and blamed you after Zac died
BO - Little one i know she did that but she's here for you
CIARA - She wasn't for you
(Bo hugs Ciara as she gets emotional)
SHAWN - So why do you think your life is crap?
CIARA - My grades are horrible and Allie and Claire have their lives together
BO - Your grades arent horrible
CIARA - Mom says otherwise
BO - I will talk to her and as for Allie and Claire having their lives together that will happen in time for you
SHAWN - Trust me the recording contract is a small part of Claire's life together not her whole life
CIARA - Thanks for trying to make me feel better. I love you guys
(Ciara signals for Shawn to join her hug with Bo)
