Who has plans? I do! I do! We are having the biggest gathering we've ever had at our house on Thursday. I was sure there'd be people who'd say they had other plans but nope, everyone we invited is coming, and some people are bringing people. Everyone's bringing an appetizer to share. Ron is making Irish Coffees and Irish Soda Bread. A friend is making a chocolate Guinness cake. Can you imagine? OMG. I've got decorations and party favors. Should be fun! |

I’ll be at home with the kiddos
Hubby is working
Since it’s calling for rain and more rain (in Ireland who’s a thunk lol) I decided to give the paddy’s parade a pass
I don’t do cold and wet weather
Frank doesn’t care for the chaos either so we decided to chill out at home

Enjoy the party, Kpatch! Kind of a quiet St. Patrick's Day this year. We're doing the corned beef and cabbage this weekend while my brother-in-law's home from travelling for work. Tonight, my sister and I are making coddle. I've never had it before, but it sounds delicious! The party was a big hit. I had strands of green beads for everyone to wear. Ron made Irish Coffees for everyone. Some people had seconds and thirds. Good thing we brewed enough coffee. We had a nice assortment of food and drink. Conversation was lively. The new patio furniture got used. People stayed a long time.   |
