Linsey Godfrey returns as Sarah. Finally!
LINSEY GODFREY RETURNS TO "DAYS"...
Soap Opera Digest has confirmed in its newest issue that Linsey Godfrey will be returning to "Days of Our Lives" as Sarah Horton, with her first episode airing the week of January 17.

I'm glad to hear that Linsey is reprising her role and that there isn't going to be a Sarah recast. I doubt that there would be the same chemistry between Sarah and Xander if someone else came in to play Sarah. That's what makes me groan about Chad and Abigail now. Billy Flynn does not have the same chemistry with Marci Miller that he has with Kate Mansi. There are things that I like better about Marci's portrayal of Abigail, but I don't enjoy watching her and Billy try to portray a deeply in love married couple. They seem more like two very good friends who are trying too hard to turn their friendship into romance. Thankfully, the same thing won't be happening for Sarah and Xander since Linsey and Paul have the chemistry needed to portray a believable couple.

Chad and Marci Miller's Abby are bland and boring and put me to sleep. No sizzle whatsoever. Billy and Kate Mansi's Abby had chemistry and were interesting to watch. I find Chad and current Abby more interesting in scenes with other people than with each other. Maybe the actors don't like each other. |

In some ways, I find Marci Miller's Abigail more likable, but where Kate Mansi and Billy Flynn had chemistry, Marci and Billy are lacking. They're enjoyable interacting with other characters or if they're together and battling EJ, but if it's just the two of them in a romantic moment they put me to sleep.
And I'm thrilled that Sarah is back and not a recast! Sarah and Xander been one of my favorite couples in Salem over the last couple of years and I'm looking forward to having her back.
