Without a doubt - Jaws. Saw it when I was a kid (probably too young) and I still will not go more than ankle-deep in the ocean.

The later Chucky movies are more comedic than scary. To be fair I was way too young when I saw it Watching now it’s not so bad but I also question how my parents thought it was a good idea letting me watch it at the age I was I was probably 3 or 4 |

The first Chucky movie was scary. |

My older brother insisted on watching Unsolved Mysteries and that scared me so much I can't think of any movies that did. I would lie awake worrying the bad guys they featured on the unsolved mysteries of the week were going to get me.

I would lie awake worrying the bad guys they featured on the unsolved mysteries of the week were going to get me. Oh my gosh just the music alone from that show terrified me and I was in my early twenties when I watched it. Even though it scared me I watched the show anyway because the stories were intriguing. When I moved out on my own I tried to watch it and couldn't. Being alone in my apartment and trying to sleep after watching it was too much for me. It was probably one of the creepiest shows I've ever seen. |

I shared a room with my sister so I couldn't keep the lights on and couldn't sleep in the dark after watching it. |

The other thing that scared me was a Garfield Halloween special where Garfield and Odie encounter some ghostly pirates while trick or treating. I found it on YouTube a few weeks ago and it was so mild (and the ghosts took up about 3 minutes) but as a child it was terrifying.

But as a child I can understand anything to do with ghosts or pirates might be scary. |
