Shelley Hennig is absolutely GORGEOUS. What a joke that the show made her second choice truely ridiculous. She definitely is gorgeous. My husband is a huge fan. I kinda like they made her second choice. Gives all of us regular girls a shot...a chance to dream. LOL Besides I have seen so many super hot men with really normal/average looking wives/girlfriends. As far as the story...I guess Nathan felt more of a connection to Melanie, even though he liked Stephanie first. I always thought he liked Stephanie more, despite what the script said. And Philip chose Stephanie, they just didn't work out. |

I kind agree with you about it feeling like Nathan liked Stephanie more than the script lead on. Basically I think Mark Hapka did a horrible job hiding his attraction for Shelley. I will never forget the scene where Nathan and Stephanie made love for the first time and Stephanie came out in that hot pick lingerie. Mark Hapka's eyes looked liked they were going to pop out of his socket. Sorry but he never looked at Melanie that way.
It is also true about Philip always choosing Stephanie. I always hated it when Stephanie would say that Melanie stole Philip away from her. Personally I never saw it that way, I think it was Stephanie's action that pushed him into Melanie's arms. I'm the biggest Philip and Stephanie fan ever, and I hate saying this but it was Stephanie herself who destroyed the relationship not Melanie. I just wish Stephanie had realized this and chosed to fight dirty for Philip instead of Nathan.
