Ciara swooped back into town with big news for Ben, Xander and Gwen grew closer while trying to avoid being charged with murder, Rafe began talking to a stuffed animal while Pauline worked hard to demolish the Horton legacy in Salem. heroicmuse and I are joined by soaps4ever and kathyj to debate Ciara's news, the future of Xander and Gwen, if Philip was pushy or honest, whether Paulina will really demolish Horton Square and more!

Wow, what a week and so much to comment on. Great round table, kathyj , soaps4ever , heroicmuse and ProudTVJunkie . The bear was a silly device. Rafe could have just had his conscience telling him he was torn between two women. It's not unheard of to hear characters' thoughts. I think Philip is being honest about his feelings. Yes, he's a little pushy or persistent as Chloe says. He has a right to know if he stands a chance. He wasn't forcing her into anything. When Chloe and Belle were talking about high school, why oh why wasn't there a flashback? They've got the same actors playing Philip and Chloe. It could have been a nice touch. But since they didn't, it makes me as a Phloe shipper fear that Broe is the endgame. ProudTVJunkie , I too gasped out loud when they pried the Horton plaque off. Paulina's plans would have come to light one way or the other. I am guessing that the timing of the reveal means they will have a chance to stop the demolition. #SavetheHTS Ben and Ciara are such a waste of airtime in my opinion. As for Theo and Ciara, we have seen almost zero of their romance, so it's impossible to invest in them as a couple. Lastly, I agree with kathyj that Xander is more cunning than that, after all those years of working for Uncle Victor. He wouldn't dump a body that he didn't kill into a nearby lake.
