How do you feel about April Fools episodes in general? (Read 171 times)

To me, it's a waste. They work hard to be funny but I'd much prefer to see a regular episode. 

I'm sure there are lots of people who like it and look forward to it, but I am not one of them.

As a whole, I can take or leave them. Ot the two fantasy episodes they do each year (this and Halloween), I much prefer the latter. Perhaps that’s just because I prefer Halloween in general, I don’t know. While both are ridiculous and over the top, the Halloween ones have kind of a campy charm to them, whilst the April Fools ones are generally just kind of stupid.

Having said that, this years was better than most, particularly the Shawn and Jan scenes.

I enjoy the Apri Fools episodes. I like a glimpse into an alternative Days universe.

I find them a bit lame mainly cuz lately the current writing seems to already be an endless April fools joke

I feel like part of a good prank or joke is the surprise. At this point we all know what’s up. I’d personally prefer it if they pulled back on the camp and did a better job of fooling the audience. That’s just my preference.

I guess if some people get to enjoy alternate storylines for a day then, well, it’s just one day. There were a few little funny moments.
