I am currently writing a story, but I also like to take time out to read other stuff. What should I be reading on here that I am missing out on? (I prefer not to read anything about Philip or Chloe or Melanie etc at this time.)
Are there any stories about Lucas? Or how about Sami and EJ?

Blue eyed has some good Jack/Jennifer stuff. Third times a charm I think it what it is called. Kpatch has a lot of non-Phloe stuff if you read her older stories. Andre's stories are all really good.

No Ejami fics? I know Forbidden Love has tons of good ones, but I was hoping there were a few here. People usually write such gothic stuff for them. I love a good gothic romance.

I don't think you'll find many (if any) EJami fans here. I've tried to start a couple of stories featuring EJ, but I just can't wrap my mind around a plot that would excite people to read, so I never finish or post them.
I think it's harder to write for a couple if you aren't fans of them. I can't imagine writing a pro-Quinn story. Is that even possible? :-P

LOL So much material there. EJ is such an awesome character, so complex. I would love to tackle him. I am not a huge fan of James Scott, which is what holds me back from being a true EJ fan. But I love the idea of Sami and Ej and the idea of EJ and Nicole. I find him the most intriguing thing about Days - well I did, before they neutered him in the reboot. I just imagine him all dark and brooding in his castle... He is like a dark version of Philip, another great character. I guess I am the opposite as far as having to be a fan to write something. I like to challenge myself to write about characters I have issues with. I have EXTREME issues with Chloe, yet I am writing about her. It helps me see them in a different light. |

BradyDiva has a good story with Melanie, Stephanie, EJ and Philip called Love Games. It is the only one I know with EJ.

See, I adore James Scott. I just think he is fantastic. *sigh* And I was a big EJami fan before all the eye cancer crap from last year (or really the year before that, but you get my drift). I won't say that it ruined the character for me (I love it when he's devious, but not out-right evil), but I'm just not inspired to write about him. I could write a story about me and James , but not EJ and, well, anyone. I prefer to read/write stories that help the show along, not re-write it. The stories that explain what's happening just off screen. |

So for instance, I won't erase the fact that Brady and Chloe were married just because I didn't like it. I respect whatever the show has created for a character. So maybe one day you can try to work out some things with EJ during the eye cancer time...you know..just to maybe renew your love of him. And I don't know, give me an EJ fic to read. |

LOL, I'll put the thought up there in the old story creater blender and see what pops out. You never know where/when inspiration might strike.

I don't care a bit if the story goes along with the show. I want a well written story that features characters that I enjoy. They are often far better than the stuff on my TV anyway. I have to hand it to the writers here at MH for making me enjoy stories that feature characters I don't care for on the air. I guess that shows that the writing is the key.
Kpatch has some terrific classics. If anyone hasn't read them I highly recommend doing so.
Blueyed has a great fic about Jack and his college sweetheart Sara. It has a lot of flashbacks to his college years and Harper's affect on his life.
